Its not about being lazy, some people don't have countless hours to dedicate to a game. As someone who has a family, a home to maintain and a full-time job time is very limited and I don't think you can generalize everyone as being lazy. I want to play the Warden class and don't have the time nor the energy to make another character and try to complete all the content that I already have completed again. If I am willing to pay for it I don't see what the big deal is. I do think it should be a one time change though.

Yeah, basement-dwellers call people with jobs and lives lazy, nothing new here.

The point is, that many people have characters with certain biographies, or names they want to be associated with. Not to mention achievements that are pain to get. Catching up in progress is not just leveling 1-50. It's also getting 20k+ achievement points, things some people were working on since release and still didn't complete. So, what - now because zos decides to change the available classes and devalue players' choices, they are supposed to spend another 3 years just to catch up and play a new class?

Class change is needed, in-game too. At the very least - a different achievement system. Do it right like blizzard did. They added a new class and made sure people feel comfortable playing any class they want without feeling like it's a waste of time that could be spend progressing on their main character by adding class change and designing the achievement system right.
