How times change. Back when veteran ranks were around, you could venture through the veteran zones and encounter next to no one in the zones. Getting help with world bosses was nigh on impossible. Soloing dolmens was common due to the lack of population. To encounter other players outside of Cyrodiil, you generally had to hang out in the non vet zones.
I'm glad things changed. Its nice going through all the zones and finding a healthy player population.

    This.

So basically OP is complaining that there's too many people in a massive multiplayer online game. It's a good thing you see people everywhere, it means the game is booming. This game is an MMO, it's designed to be like that.

This game has a ton of instanced stuff, too. If you want a challenge play vMA, veteran dungeons, trials, etc.

∆This. Since Beta, there have always been that sector of the community complaining that ESO isn't a single-player game like Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. My answer to them? Go back to those games if that's what you want. MMO's are all the same in many regards. OP is just not cut-out to enjoy the MMO formula. Simple as that.

To be fair i think the OP is saying that there is over crowding, and no quest scaling. Not asking for single player experience exclusively. Theres no challenge to quest or fighting. You can literally stand and hold one button without fear of dying or failing.

High population is good, but if monsters are already easy solo, having 50 vs 1 where your only challenge is to get a hit in is ridiculous. You are betting off playing tetris.

True. But I would argue everything you described as STILL being typical of MMO's. I can't name a single MMO in my 15 yrs playing them, that has been successful in staving off the "power creep" as time and expansions go by. Zergs are core to MMOs now. Soloing old content is core to MMOs now. Nobody has perfected the formula otherwise.
