It seems to me we have a HOARDER issue and the player cannot admit to being a hoarder, most can't admit they have a problem. So instead of blaming themselves, it's easier to blame ZOS for not making easier to hoard stuff. As others have noted, most sets are not even worthwhile, and even ones that are will be outdated shortly by newer sets... and even then, having sets and not upgrading them to purple or gold pretty much makes them worthless anyway. So what's the point of holding on to them other than being a hoarder without being able to admit to that simple fact?!?
This is a game, and most of us pay to be here. With the RNG as it is in this game, it is NOT a problem on the user end.
This forum DOES have a huge problem with trolls though; more than any other forum I have participated on.
Come on ZOS! What's the deal with being so lacking in storage options in game? What is the justification for forcing players to fill up their player slots with mules? Why isn't there more bank space availability? Why isn't there more carrying capacity per toon availability? Why isn't there expandable storage options with the purchase of a home? Why isn't there a mule option for a character slot that can carry much more than a standard toon?
Why ZOS? Why?
Why don't we have more storage and inventory management options in ESO? What is the justification?
ZOS could be selling these options, and they would be eagerly purchased even if grossly over priced.....and we STILL don't have the option available even at an exorbitant cost. Why?
It's a constant struggle. I have been playing since beta and still can't find a place to put all my items. So you aren't alone.

Any Inventory issue faults really do lie at the feet of the user. 200 bank space and 200 inventory space; that's a lot of capacity. If we can't work within those boundaries we've no one to blame but ourselves.
Inventory issues are not the problems they use to be in the past. Players really need to stop blaming ZoS for everything and take some responsibility.

12 characters with purchased bag upgrades (up to 140 each character) = 1,680 slots
Mount bag space upgrades (12 mounts x 60) = 720 slots
Personal bank space (with upgrades) = 240 slots
Total: 2,640
Personal Guild Banks = 500 slots each (up to 2,500); limit of 5 guild banks
If a player doesn't have any personal guild banks, we're still approaching 2,700 inventory slots ... not including the crafting bags or stacked inventory.
So, the first question for any player feeling constricted on inventory ... have you hit 2,640 character and bank slots yet? This is a game, and most of us pay to be here. With the RNG as it is in this game, it is NOT a problem on the user end.
I disagree ... like most of the other forum-goers in this thread. If you can't manage what you have in 2,600+ inventory slots that's your own fault.

The inventory here is really bad, as someone posted, it'd literally "Fun-numbing".

When fully upgraded:
- 240 slots in bank
- 200 slots per character (by default you can have 8 characters)
so... 200 x 8 = 1600 + 240 = 1840 slots ? ?
In total:
1840 slots (I understand that it will took like 1 - 2 years and a lot of gold, but still.. that is the "free" amount of space you can have, without using a craft bag).
I don't understand only.... why you would need that much ?
If you have bank fully upgraded it is more than enough to store all crafting materials (from all crafting branches + even 5 stack of ore, wood, leather & silk) - and still you are left with like 5 - 10 free slots. So If you want to "collect" all set gear then just upgrade on of your characters and use that 200 extra slots for just storing gear, and keep only crafting materials in bank.
SainguinKrist wrote: »Kinda of amazed this is even a discussion. As other's have pointed out, you have literally thousands of inventory slots available.
I've done the mule thing before. It's a little tedious but it works fine.
Now about the sets. Why are you hoarding so many sets? Seriously. You won't use all 200 of those and at some point they HAVE to be duplicates if they're from the 2pc monster sets. Decon them or something.
If you're just hoarding a bunch of useless stuff, it's not the game's issue. It's your issue.
If I was hoarding lvl 5 glyphs because "an alt might use them", it wouldn't be ZoS fault that my bank is running out of space. It would be mine.
Either quit being a hoarder or keep this crap to yourself.
Apparently because a lot of people haven't maxed out their bank/inventory space
Probably because it's expensive.
The kind of money you need to max out your bank and backpack is not easy to come by. This is especially the case if you are a casual player who does not belong to a popular trading guild.

I need 1400 storage slots to clear my mules...and I don't save anything that isn't a prime trait or in my craft bag.
