Inventory management epic issue in ESO

I got Inventory issues too, and I have 12 toons 9 of them have 200 item slots and 3 of them 170 and then I have bank space and then ESO plus and bank 240 slots and on top of that a guild bank full of stuff totalling 2790 slots.
I have about 100 slots free at the moment that’s a big problem for me as I like to do as many daily dungeons on as many toons as possible. Before we had bind on pick up this was not an issue I could just sell it in guild stores.
but ever since I be lucky to do just one toon 3 daily’s and after doing just 2 daily dungeons I have used at least 50 of those slots and like to have 50 spare slots on another toon so I have to go to a merchant and sell to free up
slots for the last daily. This slows down the whole group since I don’t have the room. This has become a daily chore and not one I like it takes up a lot of game time. To the point I stopped doing daily’s as the cons out way the pros.

I would like to suggest if you own a home you get extra bank space So for the high end houses you get 500 extra slots and med houses maybe 350 extra slots and for the small you get 240. This can either be capped per type so if you owned all 3 types that would mean you have a possible 1090 slots. This would fix my issues for at least another year. Or a Crown chest in different sizes.

You may be asking why I have so much stuff. Its simple I like to PVE and PVP and have healer builds and tank builds too. You can’t move your bound gear onto another account so that is not the answer oh but I have one of those too with 8 toons maxxed out.

ditch the *** sets that you never use. you don't need that full set of automoton divines. undaunted unraveller is crap, decon it for laurels. ice furnace is rubbish, even with ice staff tanking.

Try and get your characters down to a simple tanking set and a simple dps set. Just because everything drops doesn't mean you need to keep it.

I know it hurts, but if the set gets buffed into usefulness you can always farm for it in the future.

I cut down on my inventory management by doing a proper cull of everything I had stashed in my bank/in my character's bags.

If I wanna switch characters I take the same gear and simply move it. I don't see the need in 5 pieces of the same item when I can put all my materials into 1 item. It freed up a lot of space when I went through and deconned a lot of gear/old sets I knew I wouldn't be using again.

"Inventory management epic issue in ESO"

    When fully upgraded:
    - 240 slots in bank
    - 200 slots per character (by default you can have 8 characters)
    so... 200 x 8 = 1600 + 240 = 1840 slots ? ?

    In total:
1840 slots (I understand that it will took like 1 - 2 years and a lot of gold, but still.. that is the "free" amount of space you can have, without using a craft bag).

I don't understand only.... why you would need that much ? :o
If you have bank fully upgraded it is more than enough to store all crafting materials (from all crafting branches + even 5 stack of ore, wood, leather & silk) - and still you are left with like 5 - 10 free slots. So If you want to "collect" all set gear then just upgrade on of your characters and use that 200 extra slots for just storing gear, and keep only crafting materials in bank.

ESO only offers 240 storage slots. That's what the bank allows. When we are forced to disable viable, playable toons to use them for storage, that's a flaw that's programmed into the game, not a hoarding issue. I've earned every one of my 200 monster helms, and I am entitled to have enough storage to keep them all...especially since I am very picky and only save the best traits.

Apparently because a lot of people haven't maxed out their bank/inventory space

    Probably because it's expensive.

The kind of money you need to max out your bank and backpack is not easy to come by. This is especially the case if you are a casual player who does not belong to a popular trading guild.

Not easy to come by? You can get 100k+ from the drops from your dailies. You can farm in Craglorn and make 100k in a few hours. You can farm dolmens and sell the jewels, impen, and divine drops for 5-10k a pop in some cases. Just use /zone, guild problem solved.

This game showers you with money if you put just the slightest bit of effort in. One of the only things to spend it on is bag space.

It seems to me we have a HOARDER issue and the player cannot admit to being a hoarder, most can't admit they have a problem. So instead of blaming themselves, it's easier to blame ZOS for not making easier to hoard stuff. As others have noted, most sets are not even worthwhile, and even ones that are will be outdated shortly by newer sets... and even then, having sets and not upgrading them to purple or gold pretty much makes them worthless anyway. So what's the point of holding on to them other than being a hoarder without being able to admit to that simple fact?!?

This is a game, and most of us pay to be here. With the RNG as it is in this game, it is NOT a problem on the user end.

This forum DOES have a huge problem with trolls though; more than any other forum I have participated on.

So, you think the game should just give you what you want because you paid for it? No thanks.

I have crafting bag and I don't have inventory space. And yes... I have it already maxed. It's a nightmare, literally, a bloody nightmare.

Because of the RNG on good traits dropping on armor and especially weapons, I am also saving a bunch of armor, weapons and jewlery from several sets for characters in development and ones I'd like to test out. Some characters need 3 different sets.

    For example
NB needs pve and pvp sets and yet another set for VMA.
DK needs pvp, pve dps, pve tanking sets
Sorc needs pve and pvp sets
Templar needs pve and pvp sets

It's definitely a pain in the neck

They really need to clean up the bank interface.
Have the ability to minimize and expand categories.

I swear the reason they don't give us more bank space is because in the current system the game would crash with having 500+ items showing at once.
I get lag just trying to just scroll through all the crap in my bank. (PS4)

Yes. I think ZOS should fix this aspect of their game that they are getting wrong.

ESO only offers 240 storage slots for 12 toons and literally tens of thousands of items we need to maintain to play the game to its' fullest. This is the fact.

Its about making things more simple. You can talk that talk about making lots of characters and having to spend hundreds of thousands of gold for more space oh, and don't forget the "guild" storage idea and having minimum 10 people to get the extra space.

It shouldn't be this complicated. Make it simple and add storage to housing or even for ESO+ members have the furniture added to the craft bag. Having a storage trunk or something similar with say 500 space in your own home would solve so much of the "need more space" issue.

One day I do believe we will get more space. Just have to wait on ZOS to make it happen.

Simple. They want you to buy ESO+. They will keep introducing new crafting items with each patch and keeping maximum storage static. Simple as that.

Sadly, I think you are right, but the border is tiny between paying that sub or just leaving the game.

Even non plus members should have twice the bank storage we have access to. We should be getting roughly 100 bank spaces for every toon.....so we should have a bank of about 1200 spaces right now, not 240 for all 12 toons.

So ZOS, any plans to address the epic issues with storage in your game yet? Please? Pretty please with cream and sugar on top.
