We should be able to type a command, like "/AFK", which would allow us to stay online while away from the game for a longer period of time. It could be used while you are eating, watching a movie, etc. It would not be possible to use in Cyrodiil. If someone were to whisper you, an automatic message would be sent to them to indicate that the recipient is AFK.
Especially now that we have houses and are able to sit everywhere, I would like to see an AFK function.

There is an /afk command, but maybe only be introduced with Shissu's LUA addon. I'm not sure, but that addon has a list of commands with that being one of them. I also don't know if auto replies with an away message.
Grabbing a bite to eat (scarfing in my case), getting a drink or bio break is one thing, but really, watching a movie??? You should probably log for that.

Having an inactive character hanging out in high population areas like Rawl'kwa is an issue, out in the wilderness not so much.SnuggleMePlease wrote: »

I'm quite tired of periodically running back to the laptop to hit W just to keep myself logged in until I get back.
