I do find masters of House Telvanni the most interesting individuals, however House Redoran archetype fits my main character Dunmer Templar more.

They said you wouldn't be forced into joining one house over another. They didn't say you couldn't join the houses at all. (They also didn't say you could.)

Why. Isn't. Indoril. ON. THE. LIST?!?!?!?
    >:(
Because Indoril don't have any holdings on Vvardenfell.

havent voted yet, is there a place to read up on the houses, lorewise?

    found this :D

It should be noted that House Telvanni is the only house in Morrowind to tolerate vampires and even let them join their ranks.
if the go by same rules from the old days :D then im glad im not a vampire

For what it's worth, back in TES3, vampires were always kill on sight, except for Mages Guild, Telvanni, your own clan (if you had one; other vampires were hostile), and a handful of NPCs.

    House Hlaalu
I have problems with them all but in the original Morrowind I settled on Hlaluu as being the lesser of all evils besides which I preferred their settlements to the mushrooms of Telvanni and the ash clogged crabs of Redoran. At least I got a nice house on the coast with Hlaluu. :) I joined all of them in Morrowind, too, even though I was forced to kill my counterparts in the other houses. I hate being forced to kill (relative) innocents in a quest and always appreciated that Morrowind mostly had an option.
Scura di Notte - Altmer Nightblade (gear)
Lalin del Sombra - Bosmer Sorcerer (alchemy/enchanting)
    Angevin Sarkany - Bosmer Dragonknight
Alkemene Velothi - Dunmer Warden (Morrowind)
Sanna yos'Phalen - Altmer Sorcerer (provisioning)
    Cosima di Mattina -Altmer Sorcerer
    Naria Andrano - Dunmer Templar
Luca della Serata - Redguard Templar

I mean, this caters to everyone.

But when you cater to everyone, it kinda blows the fun out of the game. Like in Everquest, good evil neutral, it was actually fun to be marked by NPCs of another faction and to raise your faction with those NPCs. Now, dont get me wrong grinding does suck, but when its very well structured I like, but when its later Everquest, where every new expansion, you have to grind a worthless faction just to get the good loot, that blows and isnt fun.

I liked the original design of ESO, where it was alliance based, you could still "experience" the other factions aka cadwells gold and silver.

I just get feeling a lot of games are mediocre these days, because they want to cater to everyone. Just like the WWE, catering to everyone as in being PG.

I have to say this though, the ESO world doesnt really feel like a world to me, as to Everquest, where everything is connected, you can go from a good zone to an evil zone.. aka go from a DC zone to a EP zone (which you cannot do in ESO because it does not feel like a world). Thats pretty much one of the negatives I see to this game, its an MMORPG, but the being in an immense world (like Everquest and even the TES singleplayer games have the feeeling of being in an immense world), but in ESO that feeling just does not exist.

No immense world feeling (as in connected, everything makes sense, typical OG MMORPG)
No feeling towards being in a certain alliance/faction/guild/house (theres really no DC pride except in AvA, once you leave AvA, its who cares) (If it was me, I'd force people characters all into one faction, keep it open world, allow alliance changes every month or at end of 30 day campaign, this way, your alliance matters, and if you really wanted to go to another alliance you just switch, I find this method better than the current method, pick your alliance any character can be any alliance, be in all 3 at once and who cares approach that they are currently using). (Oh ya, and bigger bonus the longer you stay in your alliance)

Basically I'm just saying, when you cater to everyone, its called compromising, and when you compromise, nobody really wins, so the game isnt outstanding in any given area, but it is "pretty good" in most. Like a game rating of an 8, its pretty good, outstanding in anything? Nope because of catering to everyone.
