Morrowind WHICH HOUSE will YOU JOIN???

As stated by the devs in the Morrowind Live Stream, that you will not be forced to join any houses because they didn't want to place any limitations like that in the game.

Hlaalu! I joined House Hlaalu in Morrowind .

I did actually make a new character in ESO which was a Telvanni just to try it... but I couldn't go through with it and just had to re-roll her as Hlaalu. Hopefully I can get a little house in Balmora for her!

I'm wondering if, since there are Great House motifs, the Houses will all have dailies to get them? Since that seems to be how they're distributing many motifs these days. I hope there are more to the Houses than just dailies though.

In their defense, if anyone has played dragon age, they are the tevinter imperium of the elder scrolls world. In order to be a citizen, you have to be magically adept. Hell, they dont even build their homes on the ground. You have to be at least proficient with magic and levitation to even have a bed to sleep in.

They are a nation of (magical) might makes right. I wholefully agree.

For me, any such considerations would depend on the character in question. Kelasendar the dunmer librarian might be inclined to go for house Telvanni, Leskandera the dunmer bounty huntress might feel at home in Redoran, while my pyromancer alt Alakserden might go for Hlaalu, or whatever.

However, I am wondering why the question even comes up. After all, joining houses made sense in TES:Morrowind, and I have not heard anything about if the Vvardenfell expansion has a similar sense to make... not to mention, there are two more houses after the warriors, wizards and traders, Indoril and Dres...

As for house Dagoth, that is almost certainly a non-entity at this time. If I recall my lore correctly, Dagoth Ur would still be napping in this time, and for the next three centuries... (though I keep wondering if maaaaaybe somewhere during the expansion we will see the events that may eventually lead to his waking... )

Yeah, this is not a thing. I might just as well ask which spell you are going to craft first and which motif style has your favourite spear.

As for which House I like best, I'll say Redoran. Skar is best home.

Depends on their agenda, but for now I will say Hlaalu. I also joined them in TES III because they where more for sneaky persons.
Although I might consider Redoran but it all depends on their agenda.

Sadly I heard during the twitch stream you can join all 3 because they don't want to rule out any quest for players or something. So joining a house probably doesn't mean squiddly diddly compared to TES III.

It should be noted that House Telvanni is the only house in Morrowind to tolerate vampires and even let them join their ranks.
