Trial 5: Halls of Fabrication - Is your body ready?

The fifth trial coming to ESO will be called the Halls of Fabrication.

Each trial so far generally has a theme and enemy archetype to it:
• Hel Ra Citadel - Gargoyles/Anka Ra, sandy and dusty with an old castle
• Aetherian Archive - Atronachs/Firstmages, magical area with floating islands
• Sanctum Ophidia - Trolls/Scaled Court, tons of poison
• Maw of Lorkhaj - Ogres/Dro-m'Athra - Khajiit temple w/ lots of tan coloring, contrasts with the dark blue of Dro-m'Athra invaders

Together, Naryu and the Warden put an end to the treacherous Grandmaster, fulfilling her contract. But their battle is far from over – as we leave Naryu and the Warden, they prepare to face-off against an entirely different kind of foe: a Dwarven Colossus. You'll have your chance to battle one of these hulking constructs in the Halls of Fabrication, a new Trial coming with ESO: Morrowind. Link

The Halls of Fabrication will be themed at least partly around Dwarven Constructs, which we will find as we battle through the Telvanni tower of Tel Fyr as well inside a small portion of the Clockwork City (likely entered via teleportation). Personally I think it looks awesome and can't wait to run it!

Is your body ready?

Morrowind also introduces a new Trial and PvP mode for you to check out. Enter the Telvanni tower of Tel Fyr with your strongest allies to battle your way through the Halls of Fabrication, and explore a part of the Clockwork City in a challenging new 12-player Trial. Or, you can head to the Ashlands to take on fellow players in exciting 4v4v4 battles in arena-like environments. These highly competitive fast-paced matches will feature your choice in a variety of game types across three different maps.

Actually the wording of the first quote a bit confusing. It seems that they are talking about 2 pieces of content actually. Lore wise, Tel Fyr is far away from Clockwork City, which is supposed to be more or less under Mournhold. Is it possible that Tel Fyr is in fact a separate, 4 man dungeon?

Ahh this makes more sense now! I'd say that we begin our trial at Tel Fyr, and probably get transported to Clockwork City similar to how we did it in TESIII: Morrowind. Explains how we experience a small part of Clockwork City in this trial and how it is not solely based there. (mentioned on ESO Live by Rich)

That's a concept art of Sotha Sil himself. Would be very surprised if it wasn't.

We'll get to see him in-game (and alive this time) when Clockwork City launches sometime in the future. My guess is Q4 2017. Don't want to speculate too much on that because almost everything we know atm comes from a single trailer.

I haven't even done MoL. Or any vet trial really.
It's just too demanding for my lackluster builds.

Too bad I'll probably be missing out on this one, I really like the Dwemer and Sotha Sil.

If Halls of Fabrication is part of the Clockwork City, I'm sure Sotha Sil won't like us just randomly smashing the place up. We'll have to see what the story is this time though.

Why are there Dwemer constructs in the clockwork city? the clockwork city has nothing to do with the Dwemer.

Everything there was all built by Sotha Sil.

You could still just run it on Normal.

Same story+trial but the actual fighting is dramatically easier and most battle mechanics ignorable.

Yes I'm looking forward to the new trial! I've ran MoL in the past for the motif and haven't really farmed it for the sets (focused on VO/IA for my builds).

I hope there's some new fresh sets I can farm in this trial and maybe something that would fit the warden?

I don't have any friends to do trials with me anymore, they left the game last November :disappointed:
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Look for some nice guilds that run trials. If you want to run vHoF (gonna see that abbreviation a lot starting June 6th!) then it's probably going to be really tough to find a group. nHoF should not be too hard to group for though. Gl! :)

Pretty curious what we will see.
    - Different kinds of dwemer Spiders
    - Dwemer Centurions
    - Dwemer spheres
    - Dwemer Ballistas
    - Dwemeri Atronachs? (in case this isn't just a different name for centurions ofc)
and probably Fabricants, which are made by sotha sil? Maybe the imperfects are also built already, but there is no record of more than 2, and I doubt we will get close to Sotha Sils chamber anyway ._.

Joining trial progression guilds is quite easy. Many of them recruit on zone chats. I was in one for a few months before deciding to take a long break from trials and dungeons to focus on other content - TG, DB, Orsinium - which I wasn't able to play because those activities took up most of my time. But I will certainly join another in a couple of months, when I start running group content regularly again. So if you want to run trials, even vet trials, there's plenty of opportunities to do that, even if you don't know people in guilds already. It's probably the same on every server.

I wish that would be true, unfortunately it's not on my home platform (EU/PS4). I rarely see recruitment messages on text chat and I can't really remember seeing any progression guild messages. Might have to do with the fact that text chat came late to consoles and still is not that much used at all. Most recruitment is through word of mouth, which sucks ...

Yep basically it seems like we start out in Divayth Fyr's tower and then get teleported to a small part of the Clockwork City. There are dwemer themed enemies because Sotha Sil has a big interest in the Dwemer and has been studying and copying his constructs since then. I presume the reward will possibly be a Fabricant or some sort of other pet.
