Lunavere✭✭ICP takes team work and coordination. The final boss is ALL mechanics. its an annoying fight for pros, and down right near impossible for novices.
Ive played with people in top end PVE end game guilds and never once have i heard someone say "oh yeah vICP is so easy, man lets just go in there for fun!" - not one.
That's only because it's long, not because it's not easy. Really, from start to finish, it's just a long winding place with mobs everywhere. That being said, it isn't as much of a time sink anymore because of the multiple nerfs.
vICP is much like vMA. Once you understand mechanics and have completed it once, it's infinitely easier to play. It's getting that initial understanding that is the hardest. After you get that down, though, vICP is easy. I mean, Lord Warden's mechanics are what? When he flies up, go into portal. Not before. Don't stand near orbs. Don't stand in meteors. Kill the shades that are not purple. Block barrage. Repeat until dead.

WTF? Why? Just... Why? Where are these players coming from that think like this? I don't understand. I really don't.
People who read forum posts and think they know a game before they play it. Problem is they are reading the posts of people who are boasting Epeen Preening. It's like when I see someone in Zone Chat dump on someone who wants help with a World Boss. Typically it is something "Just solo it, you don't need help, I can solo it with some appendage tied behind my back wearing Iron and Rawhide" or something along those lines. I like to chime in, well come and prove it. Know what? No one ever does come and prove it.
Of course OP you missed the best come back to the group. Which would be, your the one who waited a month to do vICP, why did you do that if it was so easy?

That's the double-edged sword called Accessibility.
it was accessible before there were 2 dungeons people struggled with , hist dungeons. normal trials were farmed openly in chat with no restrictions on skill. One tamriel and the removal of any type of build other then DPs for 95 % of the group content made the game dumb. Accessibility was there , continuing to make good content was not. it was easier to prey on the barbie doll player and much more appealing to make money of gambling crates rather then make quality content.
Not sure what world you are living in, but the game has plenty of challenges. I can't solo a lot of world bosses. That would be considered difficult, since I can't solo it. Also, group dungeons are simply made for groups... a challenge if you try to solo them... I really don't get where people get this idea that the game is so easy? Sure, if I boiled the game down to just number crunching and I found a balance issue and exploited that I might feel the same way. Then I'd get upset because in the next balance patch they fixed the exploit and now I'm balanced again with the rest of the world and then complain my build was nerfed...
Oh, as far as the "it is now a game for no one". Absolutely not true. I love the game. As well as many other people. There are a lot of people playing this game and find it fun.1 -
