I have a PC that I built to play Oblivion (so you know how old it is).

I've never had any lag whatsoever.

What kind of chip you got in there, a Dorito?

Ping: 350ms in Cyrodiil normal. Defending keep can go up to 500-600ms.

It's hard for me to swap bar to heal or I would die before I click that heal button or whatever button I want to click.

Then when the massive zerg hits --> I get disconnected.


Also, I don't understand why I get long loading screens randomly.

Believe me.... This is not bad. We use to sit at 1-2k ping with like nobody there. Right now its at 300 which is 'eh for ESO, but I recently have been finding myself around 120.

Latency typically about 380-500 in PvP

I am overseas, but this latency is very inconsistent with the numbers I get when running tracepings. Which are usually quite low. At this rate heals/damage don't come in realtime, abilities can take seconds to fire. Basically being able to actually play is limited to whenever pops are all one bar and the stars align. At this time the difference is amazing and I go from a so so player to really being able to do some damage.

PC- EU I experience a little lag from time to time and out of nowhere a loading screen ..but this happen more rarely than before.

For me is an increase in performance for about 70% since Homestead.

I play on PC EU,

Generally my latency in Cyrodiil is around 260(on a good day)
This however does not remain the case,

The minute i get into a fight, 1v1 my latency drops to around 350.

I actually hardly even pvp right now as lag in pve is also on the increase.

I don't play PvP very often, but was there on Saturday 1. April in the evening and have to say that lag issue was far better as the last time (a few months ago) I was there. My max latency was somewhere around 125.

I play on EU (PC), living 50km from Frankfurt. My connection is fibre 100 Mbit/s download, 50 Mbit/s upload and I reach those values in general when I do a speed test to the Frankfurt knot.

I'd say it's much better than it was.

There is still lag when you get a two farming zergs in one place, but overall it is much better, just not perfect yet.

Which is why someone like me CAN'T WAIT for the battlegrounds where I can finally PvP again.

I have been back since January & I mostly PvP in this game, yet I have to admit I tried a few times in Cyro I just can't...

If it's not the port to another keep and long loading screen, it's the screen freezes mid fight and when I return I am at the wayshrine in the South Highrock gate and there is no way to teleport back to my group.

I have had to abstain from all PvP because of this.

So I missed out buying my impen Krag helm this weekend because of this.

Even during primetime on PC EU Trueflame in 50v50 battles there isnt big lag as it used to be (usually ~200ms ping). Only when some organized group of ~30 together occupying 1x1m of space, and everyone running their ult of choice and spamming their aoe of choice, then it climbs to unbearable for a short time.

1. Standing alone in empty/ partially empty keep (10 other players) - 80 - 100 ping
2. Running to capture other keep (20 - 30) people 100 - 200 ping
3. During siege if enemy keep has 20 - 30 defenders + 20 - 30 attackers - 200 - 400 ping
4. The moment when 3rd alliance magically joins in and suddenly we have like 100 people in one place 400 - 999 ping
(usually followed by massive kick to character selection screen).

btw, Did I mentioned that FPS also drops from like 120 to like 1 - 4 fps ?

I do have to say there is no where near as much lag as there used to be but i suppose that could be due to there being hardly any active guilds left on PCEU now and most just run in pugs, I never see a ball groups now with the exception of one guild who must be bored out their minds with no competition because I would be.

My ping in a campaign with medium people is between 70 and 120 . On full campaign as trueflame 110 - 250 ping.
When arrive group of 12+ people with spam aoe ( destro ulti staff , sap , templar bol spammer etc..etc ) my ping touching 400+ ..unplayable.

• Frankfurt, Vodafone, DE: Ping 28ms, Download 446.42Mbps, Upload 41.30Mbps.

General ping in game 200+, best 183. General ping in Cyrodiil combat ~200-300 with FPS around 30-ish.

I sometimes have lag, but most of the time I don't. I have a new gaming computer with lots of RAM and a 1060 Nvidia graphics card. I also am lucky enough to live in a high tech industry town. Companies love to test their high speed internet here it seems. I've had ATT Uverse for 2 years already and GB Internet is on its way. My ping is usually 80-100 and my FR Fluctuates from 60-100. I don't even usually bother to turn my addons off in Cyro, unless it is poplocked.

Funny answer seeing as it's the only thing I do in ESO—but this game lags worse than any game ever seen, played or heard about. It's actually quite fun describing it to my non-eso friends "Wait, so the game is normal, and then when you're in a giant fight you get 1-2 barswap lag? That doesn't make sense."
