It may very well be an external problem. I'll just say right now that I have no issues over this weekend while playing. None at all. I've played with many people, some with issues, some without issues. So that tends to make me think that the issues are external and not relating to the servers. You really need to pull your heads out of your asses because you're making yourself looking pretty freaking stupid.

Really? I thought the three pillars were "ignore the problem", "pretend nothing happened" and "lie about how insanely bad the breach actually was".
Maybe I'm just paying too much attention to the news.

What's your argument?
Let's say you bought a shirt at your favorite store but it has a hole in it which ruined your day. Do you go back and complain about it? Or do you just go to a different store?
Since it's your favorite store you still want to keep shopping there but you'd want them to fix whatever it is that makes you upset. Your favorite store will most likely try and fix it by either refunding you, letting you exchange that specific item. Anything to make you want to come back, shop again and hopefully have a better experience with their products.
It's called costumer service. ZOS, unfortunately do not know anything about how to make you as a costumer happy with their product/service. They just don't care if you leave and go play another game.
It's a shame.

I don't believe I've ever posted here yet... and while I've been around since beta, this game has only been my main mmo time sink for a relatively short amount of time, so perhaps my words don't carry a lot of weight, but I feel like adding my perspective anyway.
This was never "my game", I stuck more to other games because mechanics-wise, this was just not as much to my liking as I'd hoped it would be, but here I am... and why? Because my other games seem to only be deteriorating in the name of progress. This became my main game because for all its faults and for all the features that don't appeal to me, it feels like it's one of very, very few mmos out there that is actually consistently improving. A bump in the road here and there aside.
I've noticed the lag issues too, and I hope that things will improve sooner rather than later, and had this just been a plea towards that end, then I would've nodded my head in agreement and continued to never post here, but I guess it was the use of "not acceptable" that got to me. If these kinds of issues were easy to solve, they would've been solved. Technical issues can be a pain, but if I'm to follow that shirt-analogy, then this here feels to me like: I've been shopping, being treated like dirt in every store I visited, I find one where a group of friendly and helpful employees rush to assist me, while in the corner of my eye I see another customer yelling at one of those employees because their product wasn't perfect.
Yes.. hmm, "perfect" is a word that can be argued over, but if you really do work in IT, then you know very well that there is no such thing as "a lag free and crash free environment". There's only a matter of degrees. So if that is your demand, then you are demanding unobtainable perfection.
I realize that perhaps I might be talking differently if I'd have been playing this game actively for a longer time and that a rant like this is usually the result of specific incidents, and as such this was not intended as confrontational or accusatory, rather as a different perspective from someone who feels that the way this game is run, developed and maintained is a breath of fresh air.

Well said, and I agree 100%...On I sidenote, I find it amusing when streamers get upset and decide to put their two cents in. It almost guarantees a popcorn worthy topic heehee.
