Mystic Orbs or Energy Orbs?

I am a pure heals build for dungeons/trials and can't work out which morph is better for orbs. Mystic or energy
Energy - gives back health to ally and 1% magicka over 10 secs
Mystic - damages enemy's, restores X magicka instantly and restores 1% magic over 10 secs.
I am guessing mystic is better? What is preferred for end game content.

    The healing orbs are generally better for trials. The damage better for dungeons. But tanks are supposed to run blue now so take healing morph.

    I use energy for my trial healer. I really like the extra healing they offer- particularly in certain situations like hard mode Hel Ra when everyone is in a line. I think they give more magicka back if they've healed people.

    In trials, our tank actually runs the mystic orbs and our 2 healers run the energy ones. In Vdsa I tend to swap morphs and grab the mystic ones since I'm geared more towards dps than just healing.

    If you don't do veteran trials, then go with Mystic Orb ...for 4mans dungeons it's the best morph, as it provides more magicka.

    As stated above, in Trials currently for my group healers run the energy while tank runs mystic for mobs only.

    Some Trials groups currently prefer their healers also run mystic orbs for more magicka sustain, so part of the question lies in what the group wants. With the new updates upcoming, as well, I do predict that mystic orbs will become more popular, although who knows by how much?

    HOWEVER. You are asking specifically for dungeons. As a healer, the energy orbs also heal if nobody hits the synergy, while the benefit from the mystic orbs really revolves around the use of the synergy. As a result, I would recommend the energy orbs, especially since dungeon groups are generally not as organized as Trials groups.
    Why be normal when you can be better?

    With sustain a key issue in U13, and the fact that most trial groups will consist of magicka users, healers will be expected to support sustain with anything that will refill the empty magicka bar, i.e., mystic orbs, the other morph of repentance, elemental drain, etc.

    Edit: I realize you're not asking specifically about trials, but if you're ever interested in end-game content, magicka support will be a major issue.

    This is not always the case, tanks using orbs. Yes, some do, some do not.

    Ok thanks for the feedback, seems it's a mixed bag and not clear cut on which is better. I have mainly been doing dungeons but want to do trials but can't find a group at the times i play although I am fully spec'd with end game gear for a trials healer. I think it will be more clear cut when the next update drops and sustain changes are a bit clearer.
