Dropped Fire Destro ulti 10 times - crit averaged between 62-75%
Dropped Lightning Destro ulti 10 times - crit averaged 30-60% with at least 6/10 attempts hitting 30%Maybe I am just that unlucky but can anyone test please?

Just looked at my collection of parse screenshots, and you are right. The crit on fiery rage is mostly in the range of 60-85% for me but the crit on lightning ult is anywhere from 30% - 65% but not higher. That is so odd!
Fiery ult crit evens out around 70% but on lightning average is more like 45-50%...

Depends how many mobs at a time were hit. If you fire off at 6 - 10 mobs and count all tics for the duration using an addon, it should be more than enough to show a pattern, though more testing and confirmation would be needed. -

✭I tried it 3 times, got 90%, 60% and 60% crit. My spell crit is 65% so seems roughly right. There appears to be a tendency for CombatMetrics to miss some crits, I noticed this with other addons as well but you can check with damage done.
Attempt 1 - CombatMetric claims 80%, in fact 90%
Attempt 2 - CombatMetric claims 60%, in fact 60%
Attempt 3 - CombatMetric claims 40%, in fact 60%

Some days ago I read a thread about the difference of duration between lightning and fire, which seems to upset some people. Well, it seems you have discovered the balancing factor within this:
Fire - burst damage
Lightning - longer constant damageYou reveal yourself best in how you play.

I have been double checking with FTC as well. I have been testing rotations on sorc and templar all day yesterday and while there were a few (2-3) 60%+ crits of the ulti, the vast majority is 30-50%. I have 65% crit...However I would like more people to test to make sure its *** just an issue on my end, but I literally have looked at 100 parses yesterday and ot consistantly hits really low.
