Templar will officially be a class if you want to play as a healer, nothing else works.
Dps? Will lose to every other class.

They already did. Templars needed a few dps buffs in other areas and a few more crowd control tools to compensate for everything else which got changed.
Taking away 1 of our 2 reliable cc's is absolutely mind boggling.

the javelin thing you throw

Personally I think I'm just gonna dump my CP into heavy attacks and lighting staff everyone. Radiant will just go from OP AF (come on, we all know it) to just a really good finisher.
Get creative. Don't be those guys. Quitters never win. They took our biggest tool, so go find another.
At the end of the day Hurricane got a 33% nerf so I'll take the trade off in Cyrodiil. In dungeons ... meh ... whatever. It'll take 2 more button pushes. Calm down.

Single target. Easy to avoid. Damage is subpar. No Templar uses it in group pve and very few use it in Cyrodil.
Crowd Control is a very big deal in PVP and PVE a like. Blazing Spear was our only AOE stun.
I foresee Fire Rune from mage guild being used by a lot more templars.

I never really considered the damage of Radiant Oppression to be OP. It was the range that made it strong and how easy it is to use (channel ability that doesn't break target). It was near impossible to escape from due to the range. The damage could easily be prevented or healed through.

Have you even been to cyrodiil? I have javelins thrown at my face dozens of times in every encounter.

Of course I have. And javelin isn't used a lot. Literally 0 of the most sought after builds run Javelin in Cyrodil.

Templars were already lacking crowd control as is.
If you want Templars to do nothing but be healers you're doing a mighty fine job of ensuring that. A Dragon knight Healer is looking mighty tempting with the Dragons Blood changes. Why play a Templar healer with no cc when I can have infinite shields, aoe root, and Magicka as a DK healer?
