I would love to see some new gear and sets and what not.
Something though I would really like to see is unique items, that cannot be crafted or replicated.
Why isn´t this guy having a lovely forum holiday break for creating endless bait topics yet.
Just remembered that I saw a "level 180" gold Willpower ring linked in chat a few days ago. How was that possible? It said "level" and not "champion".

The base is set for this change.
I do hope however that they increase the cp max allowed above 561 to a number around 1000+ in 2017

BTW, I believe some time ago there were some new mats datamined.
The better question is whether or not it would ultimately make a difference, especially with One Tamriel all but removing levels from the game. If they added Cobalt Ingots, letting you make items up to CP 180, then players would be farming Cobalt Ore in Vvardenfell and Murkmire and every other zone in the game in exactly the same way they'd be farming Rubedite with the current gear cap. Players would have slightly better stats, but would also be fighting enemies with equally better stats. The gameplay, ultimately, would not change one bit. Aside from a huge number of players straight-up quitting the game because the devs single-handedly made all of their hard-earned gear completely obsolete.Publius_Scipio wrote: »I understand the reasons for all the "no" answers. Will we still be farming rubedite and rubedo in Vvardenfell and Murkmire and up in the mountains where the Greybeards live?

It would only force players to grind out all new sets of gear, just to get back to exactly where they were before the change. It would be a massive headache for every CP 160+ player in the game, and would ultimately give them nothing back in return.

This. I remember seeing new mats in a datamine a while back as well

I'll repeat my observation on those icons: It looks like, originally, ZOS intended to include a new material tier with Orsinium. Which was then dropped, when people objected to the idea of starting the grind all over again.
I'll also say what I've said before: I'd be pretty happy with aesthetic alternates to Rubidite at tier 10. So we can actually escape the ruby bladed weapons without being forced to grind everything up to another tier.
