About 4 out of 10, after quitting ESO 64bit, I'm stuck at the black screen that persists. Nothing I can do except going to task manager and "End Task" ESO.

I found that if you alt f4 from the log in screen it shouldn't stay quick fix for yaSmiff0

I am not trying to minimize your issue but I have never had this happen. Are you using Steam? Are you using the launcher or just launching the game exe?
I have i7 5930k, 32GB RAM, Titan X Pascal. I am using gsync at 4K.
I am using ESO launcher and using full screen with no problems. I wonder what factors are at play here.0 -

Bought on Steam but never used it for ESO. Launching the game via launcher. Fullscreen or borderless windowed doesn't matter - same happens. This is a quite old issue for me but I decided to give it a shout now.
