TRIAL OF THE FANG - WHAT THE HECK

Hello! I'm looking for advice on completing the "Trial of the Fang" in Shadowfen. It's been bugging me since I keep dying. I am a lvl 33 Dragonknight. I have the following abilities equipped:
Deep Slash, Silver Shards, Burning Embers, Coagulating Blood, Obsidian Shard, Standard of Might

I am playing a tank based DK, I have even tried using my ultimate to survive a dumb one v one fight. I have looked around online, and the only advice I've seen is "root him and use a bow" I do have an ae root skill, but jeez.. it never seems to surprise me how much the game developers must despise classic tank builds..

DeathStalker_X✭✭✭Yes, this CAN be done solo! After several tries, I was able to do it at LVL37 as a Templar - using a combination of Puncture, then Vampire Strike, and avoiding the charges, and getting a couple extra hits when their back was turned &/or they were down. I also had a meal to increase my health beforehand (~32k).0
I got it!
