edit; as for my builds and what I play, I play a tanky character because there's groups of people (mostly the ones you put on a pedestal) that always try-hard me in packs of 5+ people (again, I'd call out names but it's not allowed due to forum rules), so I'm sorry if you don't like that, I don't like being zerged by try-hards either and their tremor/viper/selene crap. Actually, my builds are probably much less 'bad' than those, the only difference is that I'm having fun playing solo even in a *** up version of cyrodiil of today, and you're probably not. ;)

Tanky builds are, quite frankly, some of the most fun you can have in Cyrodiil. They confuse the everliving snot out of mainline doctrine PvPers, who cannot wrap their heads around a player who can survive their alpha. PvPers like... someone in this thread?

Exactly. I've been having so much time in big battles ever since I swapped to a more tanky character, the uptime is great and you get to actually enjoy being on the frontlines without worrying that you'll melt in an instant. And quite often I don't even die in those huge zerg vs zerg battles, but just walk away. Sure, that shouldn't be possible in an ideal world, but if I had to choose between that or just getting zerged and melted in 5 seconds every time, I choose to have some fun.

Some people are just too slow to realize that and therefore aren't having as much fun as they could (provided that they'd enjoy that particular playstyle of course). Lee seems to be one of those. As are his idol pc eu haters and certain 'streamers' that are known for agitating every time they get their ass kicked. It's really funny in the end.

So basically you jumped on the meta everyone knows and your proud? It's ik if you feel the need to run the heavy meta tanky class to pvp. If it helps you survives zergs it's fine. But you also Xv1 on that build and brag it's quite pitying to be honest.

I Xv1 people who give crap to other people. I think I know who you're referring to here. The reason why I always destroy that guy, is because he treats everyone like crap and then demands special treatment himself. Aint happening dude, aint happening... I'll Xv1 that guy with pleasure every time I see him, he's one of the most toxic people I've seen on PC EU and I have a special place in my heart for such people. He's welcome to come duel, but he's all talk, talk, talk. Aren't you too? :)

And why are you giving crap to @starkerealm if he wants to stay here and talk with me? You had your 13 pages of nonsense, we can fill up one or two more no problem, sh*t's getting locked anyway...

    oh Lee, you never dissappoint!
Its like that mentally unstable twice removed cousin at christmas that you just KNOW will have a meltdown and need to be talked off a window ledge by mid meal...vastly entertaining but also pathetic.

    This thread has it all.

PvEers complaining that PvPers are trying to get a skill nerfed that actually has no serious use in PvE at all. :*
People telling someone to l2p because he has trouble countering a skill that can barely be countered at all unless youre running a spec spamming interrupts all the time.

This is why we can't have nice things and why Cyrodiil is such a *** place to be right now

I've been ignoring most of the ambient stupidity.

Look all I am going to say is that it is sad a few players that don't represent all of us in PvP or PvE can cause such animosity between each other without realizing each has a right to enjoy the mode of their choice.

Rather than being at each other's throats why can't we suggest a direction to ZOS Devs that separates PvP and PvE balancing?

    Happy Holidays! :)

I completely see the merit in this, but I don't see it as gaining priority with them. I think the shirkers and fair-weather fans are all gone and what is left is the base of players that, for the most part, can roll with the punches.

DK has scales talons etc that help holding their ground

No you do not know what you're talking about. This is where my comment derived from so yeah if you still think a DK can hold their ground and prevail in a fight then stop right there because you clearly do not know anything about DKs, whether it be Mag or Stam there is no 'holding your ground'. You can build to holding your ground on any class but unfortunately we do not sustain better, heal better, or regenerate faster ultimate than anyone so yet again there is no 'holding your ground' it's taking it till you die.

Mag DK struggles with sustain due to the cost of the abilities and the nerf to the mages skill (name slips me but it takes health and turns it into magicka not like). Mag DKs do not do a lot of damage until you consistently root enemies in order to proc your whips (with spellweave active and another spell damage boosting set like julianos that is). My Mag DK is suppose to what spam talons forever till I get smacked by other classes hard hitting abilities? Mag DKs have embers, flame lash, corrosive armor, fiery breath, igneous shield, fossilize, and talons; the rest are imo garbage.

Yeah I believe Stam DK needs a buff and that's not crazy because... #1 We do not have any PvP stamina skills (ones that are actually good) This applies to both class forms Mag/Stam because DoTs in PvP do not do anything. I know your mind is most likely blown right now but they just don't. Take flight is garbage, you literally see that thing coming and one dodge roll is all it takes or even side stepping the landing lmao. I will say we do have the best defence ultimate which is Corrosive Armor, that is literally the only other skills that are good for a stam DK. I should also add fossilize for roots and igneous shield because major mending is great too, but that's it.

Helping hands is a horrible recovery set for stamina, to put in perspective you'd need 50k stamina right now in order to get back 2.5k stamina while having to pay a 4k magicka fee; for Mag Dks it's even worse as most do not have more than 10k stamina lol..

Omg dude get ur head out of ur ass and read before saying anything. Im talking about the design of each class. The unique elements of each class. Not if the class is strong or not. I literally said that DK struggles for several reasons but u chose to ignore that comment cause all u do is just want to start an argument that doesnt exist. Find someone else to argue with. Im not gonna do you the favor and continue arguing for no reason just because u cant read my comments.

And no stam DK does not need buffs. Glad that u admit that u have no idea about what u are talking about. And helping hand is horrible. Lmao. Make a thread about stam DK buffs and how helping hands is horrible and see how it goes. Hint: 80% of the comments u receive will be "L2P issue"
