I like Lost Prospect in the Rift. By the time you burn down one half of the camp, the other half has respawned.

I found the 3 anchors in deshaan the best.

They are always full of ppl farming jewelry and they are pretty close to the way shrines and spawn right after another for a nice fast loop.

The best grinding spot in my opinion is the one in imperial city. Higher risk but higher rewards too, very profitable.

I keep my grinding spots a secret..... don't want everyone to come and take it away from me.

I already had my solo Dolmen taken from me after One tamriel came out, and by god! I won't have my grinding spot get taken away from me as well!

    Yes there is

Go the same [SNIP] way as everyone else if you're going to gatecrash.

But yeh, dolmens aren't best XP grind spot. There's 1 broken spot, then 3 or 4 others which are amazing. None involve dolmens.

After TO it's just a matter of finding a spot where you can gind alone or limited amount of people.

Another key element is a good playlist - I still got my "grinders lounge" on Spotify

Alik'r is much better. The wayshrines are literally right next to each of the three dolmens. That's why the Alik'r circuit has one full group and usually another group doing them all the time.

A good spot is the Bear camp in Bangkorai - it's located near the Fallen Grotto (look for a Tree icon on west and slightly south part of the map). Great for leather, but you will have competition from the other grinders.

What I love about these posts, is that it let's me know if/when my spot ever gets recognised - and so far, I haven't seen it in months being mentioned :D

Yes, there may be other grinding spots better than Dolmens. However, Dolmen grinding has a few benefits other than XP and why I recommend people do it:

    1. Easy entry. They are on every map. Just find your favorite zone and do a /zone lfg domen group...you'll get picked up quickly
    2. Loot - zone jewelry set pieces drop here - do enough of the dolmens and you'll wind up with scores of purple set jewelry for that zone
    3. Crafting material - you get a ton of green/blue items which can be deconned for materials. Plus the occasional Azure Plasma for Soul Shriven style.
    4. Achievements - there are several achievements to get. These include titles such as "Daedric Lord Slayer" and "Enemy of Coldharbour". Not to mention there are few dyes that can be opened up.
    5. XP - the xp is pretty decent. Each dolmen kill is a big bump...it's even better with double xp and xp pots/scrolls.

In the end, the benefits of doing a dolmen far outweigh the only SLIGHT xp loss you get if you search out one of those "better spots". Do yourself a favor and don't listen to the folks here who say dolmens are not good xp - they are.

@drakhan2002_ESO So out of interest what would you expect to clear in an hour - let's assume level 40 - how many levels doing Dolmens?

In an hour, without XP pots, I'd assume you'd make maybe 2 or 3 levels (hedging toward 2). However, I am not talking about how fast one levels - my point is that dolmen grinding is a viable, easy way to grind that does yield results along with some nice extras.

If your goal is to level as quickly as possible then there may indeed be better grinding spots out there. Many people have made this point in this post. For me, dolmens offer many benefits other than slight increase in XP found at other "better spots".

Once you have unlocked the achievements/colors on one char, they lose relevance. Grinding your first character is a very bad idea.

The only advantage of dolmen grinding is fighter's guild leveling.

There are spots that net about 1 level per 10 minutes (not champion points) without ambrosia, if you are in a two-man and no other team is there, build for AoE and sustain.

I did 10 levels in 30 minutes in stonefalls one night while teamed with a friend, with using ambrosia. This is not possible with dolmens due to loading screens and respawn timers.

I'm assuming it's almost every area zombies are located. My heart always sinks that little bit when i know I'm approaching an area with undead because you're almost guaranteed it will be riddled with farmers and grinders.
