I don't understand the logic behind this, do you expect your doctor to reimburse your time for keeping you waiting in the bad magazine room?

Chicken nuggets took too long, give me free ones.

This ain't Domino's, there isn't a 30min or it's free clause in that contract you didn't read but accepted.

It would cost them quite a lot actually as it sets a precedent, if they coddle you and give you things because you are sad, you will expect it every time they mess up. And make no mistake they mess up a lot.

Forums are fun though when there is downtime.

Or if PSN goes down for weeks, LIVE goes down for days over Christmas both Sony and MS should be beyond reproach. Oh wait, sometimes, just sometimes the consumer is right. I simply don't get why so many consumers nowadays prefer to get into bed with large corps or businesses rather than side their fellow consumer. It benefits you too ffs. Whilst there are zero benefits siding with those who provide subpar services. In fact, it allows them even more scope to offer out subpar services. I'm not saying all the sentiment behind your poorly thought out analogies is incorrect, but it's safe to say you're one of those people who will accept any old crap thrown at you from large corps and businesses.

It's also your logic why ZoS don't really give a toss about the current state of PvP. Why should they when they have you defending their services and comparing it to buying a pizza.

52 weeks a year, lets say every week 10 hours of maintenance, which is on the high side, thats 520 hours a year

there is 3600 hours a year

that means you have 3080 hours of play time, you really need to get out and smell the roses, if thats not enough for you

Reading all of these "What the hell is ZOS doing" or "You better reimburse us Zeni" maintenance complaint threads, I can honestly conclude that I too, wish Zenimax would do something.

I wish they would create a server, where no maintenance whatsoever is done, EVER, where these people that seem to know better than Zenimax about business practices, server maintenance, improvements etc can go play.

This server would also have no Crown Store, to keep the "This game is a cash-grab and going to hell" crowd and the believers that the game has become pay-2-win, happy.
And no maintenance would be done, EVER, so they can play without interuption. There will be no new content drops because implementing them would mean downtime, which is a great inconvenience.
And lastly, you will be able to set your own drop rate for items on this server, which should keep the "I should not have to grind for items" folks happy.

I think you missed the part where I said I'm a new player. I work a full time job. The 14 hours spanned over 2 days of my play-time. 2 days of the 5 that I've even been playing the game.

Also I'm not 'demanding' anything. People need to check their Engrish at the door man, for real. It was a suggestion and everyone is flying off the handle like I'm making terrorist demands or some crap.

    ooops

I agree with this. Mainly the fact that if we simply roll over and agree with everything the game company/corporations do then we will continue to get shafted and nothing that's broken (non-urgent) will ever get fixed because their player base doesn't speak up about it.

Like I said in my message that got deleted(for other more hostile parts), this is what's wrong with the Americas. The people refuse to make a stand until things hit rock bottom. Cmon, the economy is in the crapper and Trump is your president, how much closer to rock bottom do you need??

It is no different than buying a pizza, lol. It's a video game. Take a step back and breathe man. They aren't poorly thought out, they are basically the same thing.

You are talking like this is a medical facility or something important. It's not. PSN, Xbox live, netflix your cable, none of that *** matters, at all.

Sure it may suck that you don't get to play a video game for a few hours, but it isn't like you are having subpar drinking water or access to sustenance.

    You need a safe space?
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.
