May as well offer gold for crowns
what do you mean by that? How is it gold for crowns if you just buy a house or furniture? I am assuming it is account bound so it is just for your particular account or character. And no advantage in game... This seems like the best thing they could monetize without impacting game play.Thealteregoroman wrote: »NewBlacksmurf wrote: »Real money for a virtual house......knowing they are gold mostly

..............That's Pay 2 Win.
You all do realize they've clearly stated housing is in game gold so if they then go and add access to the crown store.....yeah you're asking for crowns to replace gold.
Furniture is crafting so...yeah pay2progress or skip crafting not like motifs.
But you aren't affecting anyone else because you can't sell that furniture unlike the furniture you craft. I see no issue with selling furniture in the crown store unless it is furniture that cannot be crafted.

It depends on the situation, our selection of location, and design of housing. Would I get to personally select an area that I can build my house in? What if I wanted to live in Coldharbour... would I be allowed to build a foundation in that region?
More importantly would I have a chest that I can store all of my inventory stuffs in that is unlimited to what is given to us in Skyrim?

Paying for DLC and paying for ingame features and items are very different

I don't see the difference. You're still paying RL for a virtual house
Like I said before if I can have total freedom of what house I get and the location... I wouldn't mind paying RL money on crowns to purchase housing instead of using my gold. I'm certain that housing will be very expensive in gold currency.... Not everyone has a lot of gold these days nor have access to trading guilds that are parked in heavily populated areas.
I highly doubt that the biggest home will cost a million gold... It will probably be in the 10s if not 20 million gold range.... maybe even more.
Anyhow It would be nice if ZOS would allow players to buy homes using crowns instead of gold.
Well, I don't have millions in gold but the option I need "I wouldn't" is not there.

Why would I buy a DLC just so I can build a house? I bough all of the other Skyrim add ons, bought every house available in game but was not going to buy a DLC just to build one.raidentenshu_ESO wrote: »How many of you guys paid RL money on heartfire DLC for Skyrim?
