Lmao and people say the game is doing well on console's.

    And, apparently, they are right.
I wish they would allow the pc version to see how many people have completed the achievement..

That might be possible on Steam, but globally, the only company that stores that information is ZOS, and they would sooner go out of business than give out that information.

On your xbox goto the ESO gamehub then achievements and you can look at the percentage of accounts that have competed each achievement. Don't get me wrong the games population seems very healthy just found some statistics sad and wanted to see them discussed.

What does PS4 and XBOX say about how many people completed Skyrim? Compare that to "Level 50" on ESO.

New xbox update shows the percentage of accounts (not characters) who have accomplished each achievement. The rate of players reaching end game is very low with only 8% reaching level 50 and the most shocking only 70% of players competed the tutorial which is required on your first character... After comparing to Skyrim I see the results are not abnormally low but in fact the common amount of players even in the critically acclaimed skyrim. With only 69% of Skyrim players competing "unbound" that games tutorial but that could be players with mods which disable achievements.

This theme is common for basically every game ever. On PS4 we've had Trophy %s for sometime now, and the shocking reality is that most games don't see their first level completed - let alone the whole game. It's quite common to see only about 10% of owners finishing tutorials - and a small 1-5% actually completing games.

    All this does is show you that most people are either;
    a. Buying games on a whim and not liking them

    b. Are absolute casuals, play once and never again (I know a few of these, they buy games to play once and be part of the hype crowd, but they aren't really gamers so after the first time playing they never turn it on again.) - I actually have a friend who bought one Tamriel - turned it on - picked up 2 of the 3 components for the Witchmother Quest a month ago... turned it off to go eat supper and hasn't been back on since. He literally paid $40 for the game again - only to play 5 minutes and leave.

    c. Statistics in many games are skewed by the fact that people make alt and dummy accounts to self-boost and grind - hell I even have 2 extra PSN account for ESO that I haven't completed the first quest on, simply because I wanted to duel myself and once because I wanted the dungeon scale to be lower (RIP doing this since everything universal scales now.)

A lot of console players (myself included) will buy games when they're on sale or when they get a good used price, with the intention of hopefully playing them sometime later when they get a chance. You get a backlog and whenever there is a lull between games you really want to play, you look through what you've got and decide to give one or two of the lesser titles a try. And sometimes you may never get around to a particular game.

Hell, I've still got games I bought for the original Xbox that I never got around to playing.

I haven't played any other games since I got ESO. I enjoy the complexity. I haven't skipped the tutorial or the starter island on any of my char, and I've even completed every quest 3-4 times across 4 characters for skill points, XP, and since One Tamriel went live, also for the set pieces - some have good traits. ATM I'm clearing Craglorn on my 2nd char and I'm starting Cadwell's Gold on my 3rd.

I can't judge PC NA because I've never been exposed to it. But going off what I've heard about Xbox NA being the most populated server -- I highly doubt it has that many. Maybe the information was wrong -- or it's outdated by now. Can PC NA pop-lock more than one server during peak?

I would actually be interested to know how many different player-characters are ranked monthly on Trueflame. Like if you were (towards the end of the 30day campaign) to go on some Alt, get 400 ap and then check your placing.

It's a very rough way of trying to determine how many players there actually are -- however I think it is a bit telling.

Achievements are character-specific, not account-wide, so does the Xbox update make it clear whether the figures relate to characters or players? For example, after you've done the tutorial once you are given the option to skip it with all subsequent characters.

I think OP was talking about xbox achievments rather than in-game. If it works like the Playstation, it'll be account wide - on PS I can get a trophy on any character and it'll just count that first time.
On PS all you have to do is run a game for the first time and it'll generate the trophy list for it on that account. We have lots of accounts on our PS and someone regularly starts a game logged on to wrong one (I've got a trophy listing for GTA on mine which I've never played). I wouldn't imagine it accounts for all of the 30% not managing to finish the tutorial but it probably boosts the number a bit

Honestly, I can't see why anyone would play this game on XBox, given all the problems that always seem to plague it. I play on PS4 primarily for that reason. It would not surprise me if the XBox was mainly an "also ran".

It's actually been so bad on xbox from time to time that it's hard to imagine the game as always functioning properly. Like right now as we speak -- Vicious Death is broken. Doesn't proc at all.

Tutorial cannot be skipped for your first character. Only for the later ones.

The 30% who never completely is composed of temporary alt accounts (10 members for a guild bank anyone?), people who haven't gotten around to playing the game (more common than you think), and Xbox adding games to the other accounts on the box if they happen to also be logged in when someone else is playing it (happens a lot, especially if a Kinect is used).
Why be normal when you can be better?

Well I have 16 characters and only did the tutorial once.
I play on PS4 since that version release and PC since beta.
I have noticed on PS4 even on the most popular games like GTA5 there are many trophies with low completion even the easy to get ones.
While it may show casual or lazy game play it it hardly a measure of health of the game or how many are playing.
Just shows some portion of games are not as popular as others.

In my case after the first play through I learned how to level faster and knew the mechanics of the game already.
Many people skip tutorials because it is their nature to think they know it all all ready.

But if you group with somebody you can Zone to them, hence bypassing the Tutorial. Atleast that is how it worked when I did it on my dummy accounts. I'm not about to spend time testing to see if it's been fixed, but that's how I got around it.
