umm... nope. It's actually pushing me away... and i know i'm not the only one.

I'm giving vMA, and ESO, one more week of my time (because of the double rewards - i'll see what happens)
If i don't find an item or two i'm looking for with GOOD traits... i'm dropping eso completely... SPECIFICALLY because of the drops in vMA. Getting sick of running this place for my (insert large number) bow or shield.

It is a HORRIBLE system and it hasn't been worth the many, many hours i've invested.
ZOS doesn't even care to comment on it... out of all the great ideas that pop up on this forum...and that just makes it more frustrating. If they said they would implement a token system... change traits/drops next month... i would stick around to try it. BUT... they don't say anything.

This is the only content in this game that I (and many others i'm sure) haven't gotten a "reward" for completing. I have NO problem with RNG in group settings or even the undaunted chests... items are trade-able and you have a better chance of finding something with the right trait....or with the chests, you have multiple keys per day... which is not the case in vMA.

what is the point in even running end game content if people like you just want the option to buy it?


any ZOS employee that worked on DSA or MA in terms of concept, graphics, mechanics etc should and probably would be firmly against this

So the same can be said about monster sets, jewelery and EVERYTHING else the Golden sells.

Correct the only people that don't want this are the Elitist and special snowflakes. I have both VMA and Master Weapons and still want this.

I don't think Master or Maelstrom weapons should be at the golden. But, I do think there should be another weapon type introduced that is based on PvP excellence.

Group pve excellence = Master weapon
Solo pve excellence = Maelstrom weapon
PvP excellence = ?

I don't really know how to implement it... the easy way would be to buy it with AP, but tying it to some other achievement would be good too.

I also agree... but there is no "bar" to fill up so you can get a sharpened destro staff.... so both pvp and pve lose on this one.

How bout the vendor in VMA take tokens if there was a system. Although all weapons would probably be the 2nd best traits. Or worse

ZOS do not destroy not PVP!

Maelstrom weapons isn't what's destroying PVP, and you don't really need them in PVP anyway. They're useful, sure, but they won't make or break a fight.

monster sets are from very farmable dungeons whereas MA and DSA are END GAME content and you have to be a good player to complete them.

Except you can get EVERYTHING the golden sells by being carried. The same can not be said for vma weapons.

There is a massive difference between dungeons and vma.

I am all for a token system though. Maybe add tokens you get for each round but you have to have a second token that only drops from last chest. That way you can earn tokens from every round but you still have to complete the entire arena in order to trade in tokens.

Or just make the token vendor spawn after completing the arena after the fruit guy talks to the daedric lord.

Golden vendor? No way.

I'm so sick of seeing this kinda crap, people who got lucky with the RNG telling people to earn them, the people who got their weapons within a few runs shouldn't get to say earn them.

Personally I would of rather seen a token system but since that clearly Never going to happen throw them on the vendor for 500K gold or 1 million AP and I'll buy them and screw what anyone else says about earning it

They should be added to the top 2% campaign rewards just like master weapons used to be, I don't want to be forced into PvE, I PvE for trials and that's it.

I approve for them to be able to be purchased from the vendor. The amount of time sunk into pvp being proceed in 2 seconds for little to no reward is ridiculous. People say 'earn it', what exactly am I able to earn by playing pvp? A very very slim chance that the vendor has the one thing I want from so many options now available. Pfft imagine if zos suddenly added a tonne of items to your loot tables in pve. And no I don't want to pve to get the best in slot items available to me to pvp. And people still complain about having to 'grind' vigor.

We had something like this (Pact's/Covenant's/Dominion's weapons were designed to have stronger enchants on them than what you could craft, so most would use them as a 1pc like you would use a Maelstrom or Master weapon) but it was nerfed early on into Dark Brotherhood's release. Kinda wish they'd come back.

Because playing the content over and over and over until RNG finally 'rewards' you with what you need really makes you appreciate all the hard work the designers put into it, right?
