What do you prefer, Altmer or Nords?
Hello. I just wish to comprehend what the majority of ESO players would prefer: Altmer or Nords? The Altmer: a wise, intelligent and religious race that rely on magic for their primary fighting skill. Nords: a strong, hardy, and battle-hungry race that rely on heavy weapons as their primary fighting skill. Both of these races hate each other. Which one do you believe is the best?

✭✭✭✭✭AltmerI like them both, and ESO dramatically improved my opinion on both too, but my main is an Altmer. But my Nord, who is my Cryomancer, is my baby. Really love both Aerindel and Gyda.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

and the altmer have their wisdom but through wisdom they have arrogance but also raw magicka power.
Both have their flaws. Including the nords whom are exceptionally arrogant themselves too.

✭If you're talking about the scripted story, the Altmers are reprehensible on too many levels but every race has its.....moments.
With its eagle banner and quests I simply couldn't get past involving extreme bigotry (Veiled Heritance) or systematic genocide (Hatching Pools, and the thinly disguised reference to Joseph Mengele in the Alchemist Ruuvitar) I simply had too many issues with them.
As for the Nords...well...perhaps they deserved better than to be depicted as either outright drunks or maintenance alcoholic beef brains. More could be done with them and should be done, in my view, along the lines of what Wrothgar did for Orcs.
But I've never selected either one for a character.1 -
