I just don't get it Jules. You always run with cheaters. You always know what the cheesiest crap in PvP is. You always post on this board like some kind of injustice is being done to you and your friends. What are you unhappy about?
Let's be serious, there were really only like 5 or 6 sets that are worth anyone's time, and 2 or 3 monster sets that mattered. CP180 is the least of this game's problems. As far as PvP goes, the biggest concern remains the stupidity of idiotic tank builds that reward players who don't have a quick wit about them and...
exploiters and cheat engine players
BTW (on that same note) say hi to your friends in Haxus and your German friend for me
And your other friends who don't know how to play other than using tanky builds that have high self-healing and shield mechanisms while wearing the latest in cheese sets...you know, the icy, cold players...the ones some might even say are frozen
Players on this board are such a joke. I regret coming back here already.
EDIT: See you back in PvP after Wrobel is fired. I had your back for a little while but you have *** it up royally again.
EDIT 2: Edited for clarity
Thanks for your superbly on-topic contribution to this post.
Its an mmo, so it will happen. How many of you have said i stop playing if they increase gear cap to v12/14/16 ? I think the next update will not go live befor march. And hey, moast of you grind gear evry 3 month, what will the differnt? Btw i dont like new gear cap, just hope they bring some balance in pvp and pve.

You're right. Players have "threatened" to leave ESO for a myriad of issues. A great deal of those players are actually still to this day playing ESO. Still to this day playing and still to this day saying ESO is dead and that every time they login they get indigestion lol.
Remember BDO? BDO was supposed to be the end of ESO. I think we all know how that played out.
You're only fooling yourself to believe that a large majority of well-informed players didn't quit when they said they would.

You had people talking about the game dying. You had them threatening to leave. So you use the word "majority". I use the word "majority" and ESO is still here and many of those who complained and threatened to leave are still here complaining and threatening to leave.
And as a matter of fact, on this topic, it was me somewhere here in the forums long ago ripping into those complaining about the game.... And I said something to the effect that those who complained and did leave actually had the guts to do so.
My whole guild except for 3 people (myself included) has quit. When I went to BDO a lot of PvPers went with me and nearly all of them still play BDO, and if they don't they play a game that isn't ESO. That is two guilds that AD lost right there alone. Myself and the two others who came back are only here to play a game that doesn't require any effort from our part to remain viable in PvP while we wait for the next game to play. To say the game isn't dead when you played both now and a year, two years ago you have to be completely blind or out of the loop.
That is why ZOS will only show you irrelevant statistics like how many mudcrabs were killed, or total players over the game's lifetime. It's the same statistics WoW shows people because it got tired of showing how many subscribers it was losing. In any case ZOS has made it clear that they care more about how monetarily successful they can be rather than how good of a game they can make while being monetarily successful. It's not the wrong choice either, but the results are there for anyone who has played the game for a sufficient amount of time to see. If you simply refuse to see it that is up to you and the people trying to point it out to you are of no fault.

It's about expectations and context. To some, AvA in its current state is dead, regardless of how popular it might be. For example, to those looking for a highly competitive and structured organized guild scene.

Highest consistent subscriber count in the last 5 years.... but then again I would like to know how many murlocs we killed...
WoD had a huge amount of subscribers at the start and it was the worst expansion ever. Legion is a good expansion, but those numbers won't hold. WoW always jumps at the beginning of expansions. You can be sure when the drop happens they will not want to talk about it like they didn't during WoD.

Correct. I only have my full friend list and full guild roster to go by, which far exceeds WOD's by this same point in time 2 years ago. Better progression, better retention, bigger variety, more reasons to socialize (Mythic+, etc), and of course they're all hitting all the right nostalgia notes. No doubt in my mind they ate into a significant portion of the ESO player base.
