Delve bosses have a chance to drop a waist or feet set piece from the zone they are located in.

Last I checked there are 0 dolmens here or delve bosses, so how does one acquire this set ?

treasure chests... of which there are loads, and mob drops.

same for the other starter zones.

lol yeah...

i had a run around the starter zones a couple of days ago and picked up a near full set of heavy armour plus a load of bits of medium and light and a lot of weapons..... npc'd it all.

Supposedly there are quests on the Starter Islands that drop this gear, and not in the Training Trait. So, that is another source.

I have not done these to know if these are guaranteed drops or chance to drop. It could be chance to drop as I did not always get named items from quest NPCs

Trainee set is given out as quest rewards on the starter islands. I know this is so because I've started fresh for One Tamriel and currently working my way through all starter islands.
