Ever since text chat has been added to console, it's been pretty toxic IMO. So this won't change much.

lol i thought about this as soon as OT was announced. However more excited about new dungeons & sets bro. Also going to be awesome being able to grind & meet up with friends on other alliances. BTW - PC players - how did OT and ability to farm anywhere instead of only DLC areas affect prices of gold mats? Some speculate temps, wax etc will fall dramatically.

Eh, I am not worried about it.

Sometimes we would go into one of the other two factions on an alt in area chat around the starter towns and chant "Dominion Lives Matter!" and other groups would join in, laughing.

Yes, there will be some toxic people, but I honestly think they're the minority.

Either that, or perhaps my faction is the toxic one and I don't know that because I am in it. I guess I will find out.

I rarely look at text chat.

I assumed most people would have characters in more than 1 alliance anyway. But maybe just because that's what I do. (I currently have 6, not counting mules, 3 in each.)

Same for me on PC/EU too, even the first few hours of it being up and then the following nights, it seemed great, other than a few funny comments like "all these yellows on my lawn" and things like that

You can already farm mats anywhere, just not top tier mats. Why would the changing of nodes make more gold upgrade mats. I am curious as to what the price did do on pc though. Consoles price, well atleast xbox has been pretty high.

As for text chat I don't think it will be to bad, atleast not for very long. It doesn't really bother me though as I will just mute, or turn of either voice or text chat. Our both of it is that bad.

Speaking of changes pc already has are sets that already dropped that will be switching to BOP that are currently BOE changing over or is that only for the new drops? I have heard everyone saying if it had already dropped it won't change but just curious if PC can confirm?

i haven't actually seen any of this on pc... constantly see ad or ep over in wayrest dueling but don't see them saying ad/ep for life or down grading dc at all

I never have area chat on. If i did, I'd rather sit there and hear people acting like idiots towards one another than someone blasting music through their mic like we all adore hardcore dance or rap/R&B. At least with the former you usually get someone coming out with a good one liner or two.

To be fair, I wouldn't be too disappointed if that was the case. They have only got on top of the issues that were plaguing the PC version. I don't believe for a minute we aren't going to encounter some epic issues too such as that NA/EU server malarkey.
