How come vet vma weapons cant be sold in guild stores yet?

I don't see why not it would stop all the post of "make those weapons drop in normal". Eso has been out for what 2 plus years now. This needs to happen already. Make guild stores great again!

So all those casuals will actually have to farm things and not just go to guild stores.

If you could sell vMA weapons I'd be probably very rich in a very short time, but these things gotta be earned!!

everybody who wants them have to do their first run with wiping hundreds of times.

Only those who decide to actually learn game mechanics and understand them and understand their OWN CHARACTER
should be worthy to hold these weapons.

Its already a mess that People offering a run on somebody else's account for 200k Gold lol.

I see so many People going into vet Trials without even knowing basic combat mechanincs of their own characters.

There are NORMAL MODES for you guys.

Veteran is for People who actually know what they're doing.

Clearly a l2p issue imo.

Also this weapons should and will NEVER be available on normal.

Just learn to play the game.
If you dont want to, just go do quests, play normal dungeons or probably best what you could do is go fishing!!

Still, this is not a good idea. Just add a token system, and let the players actually master the mechanics. Just giving people powerful weapons does not mean they will use them corrrectly.

If ZoS was kind enough to finally let players sell vMA weapons in guild stores... I'm pretty sure that the price of them will be extremely high. Do you think players will *** away all of that gold for nothing? To have a shiny weapon just to impress other players? We have reasons for these weapons. Some of us are trial players. Unfortunately we require such weapon to further advance our DPS... especially in veteran trials.

If you can manage vet trials without being carried there is no reason you can't do vMA.

My point still stands;
If you can't even beat VMA then you probably will have enough use for these weapons anyway. Since you probably don't know a proper rotation etc to actually use them correctly.
And if you truly are at the point in Veteran Trials that you can't progress or polish your play style anymore, then VMA would also be a cake walk for you.

Having VMA weapons don't magically make you a good player, training, practicing and learning mechanics and how to adapt to your surroundings do.

I'm a trial player too, and do at least one Veteran Hard Mode a day, and I would never want to play with someone who cant beat VMA in a HM Trial, since you probably would just put our team at risk and would have to be carried.

There is 2 ways to make End game stuffs:

1 the first like ZOS maid and kill every MMO based on this system is to get stuff BOP, when all the hardcore gamers get it, the purpose to do the end game is useless, because you can't sell it.. The game just become a dungeon farm. This is what will happen soon.

2 Way, you decrease drastically the drop rate, of end game stuff, and make it BOE, in that way, they are still rare and difficult to get, and when HArdcore gamer get it, they can still do this end game and sell they surplus. In that way, price of this stuffs are incredibly high so casual can still get it but have to farm very longer to purchase it. THis is the game on cleaver MMO... Remember, this very old MMOS, who made every quest ever plaisant, something like this...

The Maelstrom's Sword gives a more DPS-centric bonus. You're better off getting a Master's Sword from vDSA.

vMSA weapons does not make you better player, doing the arena does, and if they were tradable i don't see a price of less than 2mil for sharpened.

Damn I'd have billions if we could sell vMA weapons. Like literally, when you look at the amount of sharpened weapons I have in triple you can expect to be rich. All those sharpened and precise Mauls and daggers that I won't use because my 3 stam toons each already have those sharpened and precise mauls, bows and daggers. Right now they're just sitting in a bank waiting to be used on my next stamina toons (won't happen). And I'd also be able to buy that damn Inferno staff.

You'd have not-so-good players running around with vMA weapons claiming they can pull insane DPS and asking to be accepted into hard mode trials. Then they'd get kicked because they died around 10 times on the first trash pull in AA or HRC. Why? Because they have the BiS gear, but they don't have the training that vMA is. You'd be surprised at how Maelstrom changes a player's survivability and awareness. But hey, I wouldn't care cause I'd make more gold than I'd ever be able to spend.

So making vMA weapons bound on equip would make those who can supply them rich and happy (cause the weapons are no longer decon material and they can actually get something out of vMA aside from a good score aka reputation), but it would make those players who didn't even try to set their foot in vMA have a feeling of superiority until they actually try to do the hard content and fail, which would then cause them to quit the game (cause they paid to play an easy game where gear determines everything). Some might refer to it as pay-to-win with in-game money, but in reality its pay-to-be-frustrated or pay-to-quit.

Maelstrom arena is made to push your abilities as a player the further, you have no one to save your *** and no-one to blame but yourself. The vMA weapons are a reward that will in turn make those players more performant in combat. I don't see what's wrong with the current system, aside from the fact that a hard mode should be added to vMA (where you'd ask Fa-Nuit for a specific weapon type and the trait would be random #iknowi'mdreaming). So bottom line is: I'd love to be able to sell my vMA weapons, but its a bad idea for the game.

You can just respect your character to run vma until you get what you need. I set my tank and both my healers to stamina builds just for the title so it just takes some effort.

Taking a tank or healer into maelstrom is like taking a pve spec dps into cyrodiil, it makes sense that it doesn't work.

You pretty much said it all Shiro... I'd love to sell mine, but never under any circumstance I'd carry a player through a HM trial (well unless they give each core team member a few millions of gold but that's different!!!). Nor would I do a HM trial with a player who hasn't done vMA. Cause they probably won't be able take care of themselves and I'd spent a lot of soul gems for nothing.

There's a pretty big difference between those who finished vMA and those who did. First in terms of DPS, because of the weapons and also because they actually stay alive to DPS. Second in terms of staying alive to DPS and not slow the team down.
