*updated repost

Gilded Reavers is a PvE endgame guild founded on launch. We're currently looking for new nembers.

Gilded Reavers held the #1 leaderboard position for every Trial pre Thieves guild. That includes SO, AA and HR. Our HR score was actually the highest ranked score across N/A. We were the first to clear through Vet Maw or Lorkaj across all N/A platforms and are proud to say so.

Not an exceptional player but want to be? No problem! If someone has the right attitude and wants to improve, we'll put in the time to get them there. What we're looking for are the intangibles, the things you can't teach (attitude, dedication, loyalty, etc.).

What to expect:
Currently GR is going through a restructure and repopulating the guild with new players. I encourage new members to fill out a short questionnaire I will post down below. DPS classes will take a DPS test so we have a baseline of where you're currently at. Healers / Tanks will do a WGT run with an officer to establish their baselines. We want players to give their best but don't stress about these "tests". We've taken players who failed the DPS test and a week or two later had them ranking in the guild's top half for DPS.

PVP events are mainly DC alliance

What to expect when raiding:
Our raids will be structured and organized. During raids we expect everyone to pay attention and to know their roles. Instructions will be given in a clear and concise manner and raid leaders will check to make sure everyone understands their assignments. We operate off "big boy" rules. Don't show up to a raid with broken gear, un-charged weapons, no potions, food or repair kits. These are basic things we shouldn't have to address. If you mess up during a raid, no big deal..now you know. Keep making the same mistake and you'll be given a warning. Continue making the same mistake after that and you'll be replaced. You'll be more than welcome to raid again the next night but understand that 11 other people are dedicating their time to the raid and we're not going to hold the entire raid up for one person.

If you are interested in joining please fill out the questionnaire below and reply to this post or send me a message directly here or on XBL. GT: Dark Ninja326

Would you be willing to change your role for the benefit of the guild?
Absolutely. I'm flexible. I also have a somewhat decent ranged maglpar (56 sec unbuffed bst), but am most comfortable with my rotation as a healer.

What are your typical play times? Please list days/times and be sure to include your time zone.
Stay at home momma - I got all day ever'day. But I'm in Europe - GMT+2 at the moment. Generally KOed from 7pm-2am EST. Will be back stateside next month.

How would you describe yourself as a gamer?
Borderline obsessive. Probably pretty typical for a heavily engaged MMO player, honestly.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game?
I'm a heavy trader and usually pretty on point as a healer. Definitely need work with my DPS rotation. Outside of magplar builds, I'm pretty lost in the sauce. I do co-lead a very large trading guild and that bogs down my time a bit, but I'd kill to be more actively involved in serious end game content (pugging vHRC is making me sick).

Do you have raiding experience in any other MMO? If so which MMO , and tell us about a certain boss fight and what mechanics you had to work out. Tell me what kind of problem solving you used and how effective it was.
I was fairly active with both FF MMOS (XI and XIV), but honestly I've been so ingrained in ESO the past year and a half that I've largely forgotten my experiences with them beyond fate farming and endless Ifrit pugs. I have been very active in ESO raids for about three months now though. About once a week/every other week I get to jump on a vet trial with one of my current trials guild, the rest of the time it's just straight pugs, which involves a bit more adjustment and versatility to compliment your party makeup.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game? I would say my main weakness is sustain, I need to work on a rotation and use it long enough to memorize it.

"Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed." -Terence McKenna

Not in others but in eso yes. i ran a trial guild and posted decent scores until ppl got bored with maw being broken and slowly left game. also raided with another amazing guild on xbone until i took a break last month. ive dpsed everything repeatedly except final boss in vmaw and healed everything repeatedly except final boss in vmaw also including hardmode hel ra and sanctum AFTER the scale up to cp160.

I am available most late afternoons and evenings (except Wens at this time) Pacific time zone.

I love to have fun but still take the game serious and stick to the task at hand.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game?
I’m an excellent tank but still looking for ways to improve. I know I have some work to do to get my DPS on point but have a good understanding of what it is I need to do. Like most players, I sometimes get frustrated, which can compromise my abilities (particularly when RNG sucks).

Do you have raiding experience in any other MMO? If so which MMO , and tell us about a certain boss fight and what mechanics you had to work out. Tell me what kind of problem solving you used and how effective it was.
ESO is really my first true MMO. I have been playing this game for over a year and have completed most end game content except vMOL and the new vSO. I’m good at following directions and have benefited from running content with experienced players. When needing to problem solve, I go to the internet to see how others have competed the task and see what options there may be.

    Hello,

Today I come to you looking for a Hardcore End Game PvE Guild. Below I will share some information on myself and my experience in MMO's.

    Age: 22 Years Old
Occupation: Stay At Home Parent - Future Youtuber/Twitch Streamer
    Availability: 12-14 Hours Daily
    Location: US, Pennsylvania
    Time Zone: EST -5

I've been playing ESO for almost a year now. I come from playing a game I know many know or have heard of called "World of Warcraft" on PC. I played World of Warcraft for 9 Years straight. My last couple years playing I was in a Top 100 US Guild for PvE Raiding Content During MoP/WoD & During Wotlk/Cata I was in a Top 250 US Guild. During my 9 Years at World of Warcraft I played one and only one class known as a Hunter. My hunter also during my period of my last couple years in World of Warcraft was among the Top 5 Hunters on my Realm/Server. When I retired from World of Warcraft finally my hunter had a total of 1,310 days played logged from seconds/minutes which is 31,440 hours in-game over a course of 9 years.

After a long 9 years I finally decided it was time to move onto something different. At this point I wanted to switch to console gaming but the whole reason I hadn't touched consoles since my childhood was due to the pricing of games with the low quality/adventure you would receive out of them in the short periods of time it would take for me to beat them. When I heard that consoles were finally starting to get MMO's I leaped with joy to go buy a console. I first tried out Neverwinter for Xbox One. I played it for about 2-3 Months. Within 2-3 months I spent over 2,000 dollars in-game currency and over 800 hours logged to find out it wasn't what I was looking for or held up to my standards for a mmo or even a console mmo. Since then I switched to ESO and very happy with my switch over. I also play Destiny. I normally am only busy with Destiny for the first few weeks after content is released. After a few weeks I normally have all content cleared and max light level then I come back to ESO. I've been playing Destiny for going on 3 years now. I always beat all raids within first week of them coming out on normal and heroic difficulty I recently in fact before the latest patch dropped was 3rd in the world for highest light level. I'm currently in top 200 for light level due to slacking off a bit too much in Destiny.

I'm a Daggerfall - Breton - Sorc - Pet Build Via Thelon - Level 50 - 161 CP.- Full Purple Gear. I'm still currently a bit low on champion points due to a hiatus from the game when they announced the removal of Veteran Levels and Champion point system I felt best to walk away until they implemented said changes.

I have the following things unlocked as well...

    Imperial City DLC
    Orsinium DLC
    Dark Brotherhood DLC
    Shadows of the Hist DLC
    Additional Character Slots Upgrade 4/4
    Bag Space Upgrade 8/8
    Bank Space Upgrade 18/18

    Crown Lesson: Riding Speed 60/60

    All Wardobe Released To Date
    All Dyes Released To Date
    All Crafting Released To Date
    All Mounts Released To Date
    All Pets Released To Date
    ESO Plus Monthly

    Normally Active 10am - 12am | 7 days a week | EST -5

What I'm looking for in a guild overall is Maturity, Dedication & Activity. I want a guild that it's member base is 18 years or older only with their members being active on a daily basis & seeking to progress through End Game PvE content at a faster rate than casual players & trying to reach leaderboard status. Activity is my biggest thing I can stress. I don't wish to be in a guild no matter how mature or how large/small it is or what it has progressed if the majority of the members only log on a couple hours a day or once a week. I want to game with fellow players like myself.

I have the time and past experience to become a top player. I just need the guidance and chance to do so.

If you have any questions/comments or would like to speak to me then feel free to leave a comment on this thread or via PM.

We won't be "hardcore" pve. This may change in the future but the guild will be casual play with players who are better than your average pug group that you may come across. If you are looking for true hardcore style of end game I don't think GR is the right place for you. Like I said, this may change but right now I am more focused on getting good players in the guild who are capable of running trials and who want to improve. Let me know if you are still interested.

I don't want you to think of casual play in a bad way I guess. I'll get players where they need to be competitive but I don't want to stress people out if they can't improve. There will be zero tolerance to toxic players and zero tolerance to bad players.

I was in a top 10 worldwide raiding guild for Ever quest 2, played 1 and 2 collectively for nearly 10 years. If you have ever played ever quest or know anyone who has, will tell you how ridiculous the mechanics were. We would spend weeks, days, and countless hours learning mechanics (which were timed) before we wiped to figure how how to fill any boss. At the time YouTube wasn't as big as it was today without a how to for everything. We learned everything ourself through synergy and perserverence. We had try outs to get in and during every raid our GM would run a parse after every fight, even trash pulls, and if you were DPS and at the bottom of the list more than twords times, you had to go. From different pulling and tanking locations to negate frontal or aoe, to switching out different support classes and DPS to determine which was the most effective. The list is endless....the mechanics are extremely similar to ever quest, but more challenging and eso is way more forgiving. Which makes me love this game so much and is the only other mmo I have liked as much in years

Understandable, I'm still interested as I've only heard great things about your guild. Do you guys have a discord, Kik or line group for outside communications?

Crown Lesson: Riding Capacity Upgrade 60/60
    Crown Lesson: Riding Speed 60/60
    Crown Lesson: Riding Stamina 60/60
    Imperial Edition
    Starter Pack
    All Style Parlor Packs

    GT: Morgnarok

What are your typical play times? Please list days/times and be sure to include your time zone. My typical play times are Monday-Thursday 8 pm to 10 pm and Sundays 6 pm-10 pm. All times are central time zone.

How would you describe yourself as a gamer?
I am pretty laid back. I am just looking to have fun, see the game's content, and collect gear.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game? I am very patient to when learning new content and I am very open minded about changing my character's build. My biggest weakness is probably my DPS.

Do you have raiding experience in any other MMO? If so which MMO , and tell us about a certain boss fight and what mechanics you had to work out. Tell me what kind of problem solving you used and how effective it was. I have done all pre-DlC vet dungeons and Imperial Prison once. I also played SWTOR; I mainly tanked and did some healing. For boss fights in general I will look up guides online and/or just brute force and ignorance trial and error the fight if a guide does not exist.

    Xbox Gamertag: hugocbp

Class / Build / Level: Templar Healer

    Current number of Champion Points:
    332

Would you be willing to change your role for the benefit of the guild?

Yes, though I have zero experience as DPS or Tank (I'd love to make a Tank alt, though).

What are your typical play times? Please list days/times and be sure to include your time zone.

I'm playing every weekday from about 06 pm to 11 pm, right now in Brazilian Daylight Savings Time. On weekends it varies from playing most of the time or just Sunday night.

How would you describe yourself as a gamer?

I'm usually a very laid back gamer, that used to like more having fun that suffering on harder stuff, but since I got the hang of healing in ESO I've been enjoying a lot of the challenges from trials and harder vet dungeons. I'm usually very helpful and patient to teach others.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game?

My biggest strength is that I'm very willing to learn and will soak knowledge from other players, forums, YouTube... After my first normal trial as a healer I spent several hours studying and researching and by my second trial I was already much better.

My biggest weakness is that since I'm older than the average (31), I don't have as much time to dedicate to the game as younger folks usually do. Also, I play from Brazil so in best case scenario I have about 300 ping.

Do you have raiding experience in any other MMO? If so which MMO , and tell us about a certain boss fight and what mechanics you had to work out. Tell me what kind of problem solving you used and how effective it was.

    ESO is my first MMO.

    General Notes:

I really want to become a good end game healer and right now I need a little help farming for my BiS (SCP, IA, Worm) gear and for tips from more experienced players on harder Vet dungeons, Vet DSA and Vet Trials (still haven't done those last two). I'm also very loyal so if I get help from this guild to achieve this, I'll probably be on the guild for a long time.

Aion, and the abyss boss fight for a castle. Will never forget it. Major end game boss while fighting other players in pvp. Alot going in at one time. If there anything I've learned over the years in mmo's is that people have to work together and communicate. No one gets lefted behind. Keep ur head ingredients the game and fight. I used to play WoW back in TBC (1st expansion). It was a long time ago and I do recall those times lightly, and while we did clear some raids (karazhan, ZA), those were not world first so we mostly knew what we were doing going in.

How would you describe yourself as a gamer? Somewhat OCD and a completionist that enjoys the social aspect and team play. Nothing has been more satisfying in my gaming life than being able to complete trials on ESO with less than optimal groups wearing less than optimal gear.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game? My strengths are being a team player that is reliable and shows up on time and prepared. I am also eager to learn and improve. My weaknesses are being ignorant about gearing and rotations as they relate to end game/trial content. I am aware that my characters are not optimally geared for trials but receive so many conflicting opinions i am usure how to best proceed.

Strengths are the fact I'm always willing to learn take criticism work on issues that I have I'm a team player. I show up to raids on time in the right gear with the right food and pots etc.

Weaknesses are I'm a perfectionist and hold myself to a high standard. I will sometimes focus on mistakes to much and beat myself up over the fact I feel like I let team mates down.

No prior MMO experience however have

completed all 3 trials and have done all 3 hard modes one time.

Never been past the 1st boss on vmol. Although did ask friends who have completions to briefly explain the mechanics as well as watch YouTube videos read written guides to best prepare myself as possible.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game? I feel like I am one of the best healers in the game, and I know both my sorc rotations very well. 55 second BST (Magic) and 45 second BST (Stam). I'm also very good at the mathematics behind the game, and like to determine a rotation that will be the most beneficial in terms of dropping buffs. Weakness: My magic sorc has extremely crappy Ilambris shoulders, my SPC breeches are infused, not divines, and my Maelstrom Bow is precise, not sharpened.

Do you have raiding experience in any other MMO? If so which MMO , and tell us about a certain boss fight and what mechanics you had to work out. Tell me what kind of problem solving you used and how effective it was.

Yes, currently in 2 trials guilds, one of which is relatively inactive. Currently the boss we are looking at is the opening boss in VHRC. We can beat the trial flawless except for that boss. We've tried moving through gusts, not moving through gusts, shielding, changing CP, having 1 tank instead of 2, having 3 healers instead of 3, having an off healer/DPS, spreading out more, stacking, using echoing vigor, using barrier, using negate, etc. Additoinally, as the healer, I've changed my flex spot to include Siphon, Magicka Orbs, and finally settled on Power of the Light, as DPS tests seem to favor it.

Pretty relax, don't take anything overly seriously but know what to do to get the job done

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as gamer overall and as a gamer in this genre of game?
I'm pretty good at being flexible with roles and making altercations to my build/rotation to fit the groups need. With this game especially, there is so much freestyle customization to classes and builds that it can overwhelm me sometimes when I'm making a character.

Do you have raiding experience in any other MMO? If so which MMO , and tell us about a certain boss fight and what mechanics you had to work out. Tell me what kind of problem solving you used and how effective it was.

I raided in WoW and SWTOR. The most recent raids I did was in WoD and a lot of it was DPS check and staying out of stuff that kills. Other than that, anything becomes easy and just takes the time to do mechanics right and down the boss.

Eso. I have tanked all trials, and gotten to twins in vMoL..
In Pandora I was a tank for all content.
Also with wow, I was a Tank.
In eso, for instance. Final boss in vSO. Hardmode. As we did it, no one would run to the pink and 90% of the team would die. So we used a simple word that people would click into their head and start running. "Pinkie" it worked and we were, able to complete it. I have a lot of tanking experience and knowledge every mechanic and trial in the game.
