How Many Skulls Before a Mask Drops?

Took me 4 Skulls to get one. Though I do have the CP passive for better quality loot.

Done 148 so far according to the achievement on 2 characters...and no bloody recipe or masks.

482 skulls. No masks. Bought them both. Doesn't matter though. Have 16 full motif sets. After the event ends, gonna sell each piece 50k+

Jesus. For someone to one by their third and someone else to get none out of 482 is just... so unlikely

I got the pumpkin mask in my first skull. Which is weird since normally me and RNG do not get along at all. I think I have all of the recipes, and I am only missing 2 of the motif pages. Granted I did some trading for 2 or 3 of the motif pages. And I have under 50 skulls so far.

Got every recipe and 7 motifs (2 doubles), no mask in 18 skull.
I'll farm some more for those motifs. Don't really care about the mask... Even less now that I know they are quite rare.

Only missing the pumpkin mask. Have everything else through trading motifs for other motifs and opening around 70 skulls. Received the scarecrow mask 3 times but no pumpkin mask. WTT scarecrow mask for pumpkin mask if it hasn't sold in guild store when I get home lol.

Just got the 50 achievement on one character, and hit 12 on another character.

So 62 and no mask.

Got 10/14 motif pages, traded for the last 4 since I had several repeats of all the others.

Got all the recipes except the gold one.

I've been hounded with purple and gold recipes, and of course, I got the mask. Not sure if the Skulls are affected by the CP passive, or if I'm very fortunate.

I've just got my 100 skull achievement and no sign of anything gold. Good job I want the achievement on another character too, gives me an excuse to keep trying.
Stupid thing is I'll probably never use them, alway use Hide Helmet, but my completionist side won't let me leave it!

Just a heads up from my experience, the only time I have gotten the Mask drops (both Scarecrow) were from overland group boss' not solo-able delve boss'. Ofc this is just my subjective experience.

World bosses are pretty soloable too, but interesting info.

What about others? I mainly farmed in public dungeons and have not gotten anything gold. Would be interested to know where others got there drops.

I was about sixty skulls in or so, and got both masks within eight skulls of eachother.

Ive only gotten purple skulls from public dungeons, delves and dolmens. Like I said, Ive gotten 2 yellow Scarecrow masks but those were both from overland group boss... Oh and I got the Vampire Yellow recipe from group boss too.

I'm convinced luck is a passive that's decided at your account creation or something.

Everyone I know that has grabbed the mask are also the same friggen people that lucked into the soul shriven skin and agility rings their first week in IC. Meanwhile I sit here after 122 skulls and count my blue recipes. -.-

Oh and I got the Vampire Yellow recipe from group boss too.

The golden Vampire Recipe drops from normal delves bosses too ^^

I find it hard to believe that you haven't got a single recipe in 148 skulls. I have about 25 skulls and at least a dozen recipes, duplicates too.

Here's what happened to me today.

Did nSO and received 3 (!) gold masks in one single dungeon run! Unbelievable. 2 Pumpkins and 1 Scarecrow.

I was at 60 skulls in total, and I had gotten 1 pumpkin at skull <10 or so....


on the other hand I've been trying for ages to get my last VO ring in nSO/nAA/nHRC.......
