I doubt I'd use it much myself, not a big fan of skeletons. But a lot of people are really enjoying it and it seems a shame to take that away.

Absolutely useless and harmful . Now in the game everywhere running around the ugly skeletons in rags. The first time I saw and was horrified. What an abomination. Blasphemy.

zenimax event designer briliant idea: hmm, there are allready TWO skeleton polymorphs in the game, i guess players like them. How about we add even more skeleton polymorphs to please the players?

Seriously: skeleton skin,, player own equipment - there is a work around right now to look like that - (in a way), while using pirate skeleton monster head + not revealing armor

I'd love a message telling me how to replicate this and the duration / limits of it. Please! :)

Sure, why not. It is the only way for Argonians and Khajiit who do not have the Dark Brotherhood DLC to turn into a skeleton that matches their race, afaik.

This is the primary reason I'm in favor of keeping it, and also giving us a "naked" skeleton without the robes, like you can turn in to from the quest in Shadowfen. As someone who plays primarily khajiit (plus one argonian) it always bothered me that until recently the only skeleton we had access to (as well as the only skeleton we see in game at all as as NPCs, including in the Lost Fleet Coldharbour quest) are all human skeletons.

Even though it clearly says: "Argonian Skeleton" as if to mock us.

So, not only should we have access to this skeleton polymorph, I think the devs should go back to Coldharbour and fix those skeletons in that region of Coldharbour to be Argonian skeletons.

What do you say, @ZOS_GinaBruno ?

Makes no difference to me. It looks good, it has the skeleton voice. Like other polymorphs it is male on everyone. So, on my female toon, I've been /danceredguard quite a bit.

You sound like some overzealous Daesh preacher who uses google translate, it's both confusing and unpleasant.
I for one am for additional morphs utilising spooky skeleton stuff, mainly because I try to simulate a Necromancer playstyle and appearance along with Worm Cult RP. ^^

Sure, why not keeping it. Just give us different types of rags on skeleton or the ability to dye rags, so we can differ from each other. Nothing worse in an mmo, probably just after lag, when all players look exactly the same.

Blasphemy? Abomination? Really? Really??? Do you say that to the kids that trick or treat your house? This is a festival! Be thankful they gave us a lore based holiday! And I wish we could keep it! It's the coolest of all 3 skeleton polymorph's IMO...
Try not to be so negative! Besides, it's a game!!

Meh, it's alright for those that don't have (or refuse to buy) the Dark Brotherhood DLC, which also has anatomically correct Skeletons for the Beast races.

The only thing ZOS needs to do is update the Skeleton Morph from the Shadowfen quest and you'd get a similar effect, just without the rags on your character.

To be fair, the skeleton polymorph you get from the Shadowfen quest is specifically a Kothringi skeleton in the quest itself (it's been a while so I hope I'm remembering correctly).

It's for a Halloween event, no point in having it all year round. I know it goes against the modern obsession with having everything NOW but it's something to look forward to next year.

Bump! I REALLY want this polymorph to remain as an event reward, much like the assassinating cadaver and the naked skeleton ones. This one has covered shoulders, dressed in a long robe and is hooded. It looks decent, and for my character which is named The Lich - AWESOME!

It's cool looking, and fine for any future halloween event. But lore wise it makes no sense for everyone to be running around as a skeleton. Which is my I voted the way I did. But I'm all for keeping the whistle as a memento.

Also as a side note, perhaps for the next halloween event next year they could add a new whistle which turns players into something else, that way only players who were around for the first event get to turn into a skeleton, as well the new transformation. That way it could encourage more players to partake in the events and build up a cool collection of whistles that turn you into different things.

False. You keep the memento, when you use it the birds will circle, maybe the cauldron shows up, but no transformation. Clearly states this in the notes pertaining, and has been mentioned in previous posts in this thread.

I wish the skeleton polymorphs had tusks for orcs :/
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.
