Keep new skeleton polymorph

I for one really like the new robed skeleton associated with the festival. I think the design team did a really good job, and from what I gather, after the festival ends we will no longer be able to turn in to it. I would very much like to keep it, as I like it far better than the one you can get from Ebonheart quests and the Dark Brotherhood. I propose we be able to turn whenever we wish, for as long as we wish...either making it a traditional polymorph, or keeping it at the 2 hour term as it is now(without the XP and plunder skull drops) after the conclusion of the festival. Am I alone in this?

It just looks like every other skeleton disguise, but in some rags. Having said that, I have no objection to it staying in the polymorph section if you obtain it during the event.

Sure, why not. It is the only way for Argonians and Khajiit who do not have the Dark Brotherhood DLC to turn into a skeleton that matches their race, afaik.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I wish for proper "skeleton skin" not more of polymorphs we have plenty allready

zenimax event designer briliant idea: hmm, there are allready TWO skeleton polymorphs in the game, i guess players like them. How about we add even more skeleton polymorphs to please the players?

Seriously: skeleton skin,, player own equipment - there is a work around right now to look like that - (in a way), while using pirate skeleton monster head + not revealing armor

I think it should get put away until next year. This is mainly just to keep it associated with the holiday and make it something more special by not having it used all year.

Unless we get a skeleton skin, then we should be able to keep this polymorph. It will still be special and valuable during its holiday because of the xp boost and skull drops.

Am I only the one who thinks we do get to keep it? As I read the article, just the special powers (xp, plunder skull getting) of the transformation will be gone.. not the transformation itself. Or did this get tested on the PTS?

To each their own though. Perhaps keep it 'Halloween' only, re-initiate it each year.

On the PTS, the event ended right when they made the EU copy, so all the characters that did the quest were erased and we couldn't test the memento after the event was over.

    To clarify...

Yes the whistle/flute stays in mementos, so we will keep that. From what I've read, the memento will still call the circling bird flock, the cauldron will appear and can be interacted with...but that's all. No more skeleton transformation. I could be wrong or misinformed, but that is the understanding im under.

Not mention it has a certain appeal over the DB PM.
I would support this request, why not its one extra cool polymorph to have in our selections.
Maybe next year event they could give us a variety of original polymorphs to choose from.

Yes! I thought we kept it too. Like the "Cake" from birthday event. We can keep it and use it, but special stuff is gone.

Ok, found this on Zos site...so sad...:(

"Be warned—when the festival ends you can keep the Witchmother's Whistle as a spooky memento of the occasion, but all of its supernatural powers of transformation will be gone, so don't miss a day of this limited-time event!"

    Guess thats answers that...

If we can't keep the polymorph, they should at least update the old polymorphs to have the new Beast Race models.

I think it's an awesome polymorph!

However, to see everyone look like a grim reaper around Halloween time is what makes it really special! It'll be available every Halloween people! Definitely not gonna "disappear in to the sands of time"

A polymorph like this would get annoying if it could be used after the Witches Festival. I like the way ZOS gives us special collectables & ways to change our appearance during these events.

I understand why lots of people wish is was available forever though. Cool looking skeleton for sure :)

Meh, it's alright for those that don't have (or refuse to buy) the Dark Brotherhood DLC, which also has anatomically correct Skeletons for the Beast races.

The only thing ZOS needs to do is update the Skeleton Morph from the Shadowfen quest and you'd get a similar effect, just without the rags on your character.
