All I'm really getting out of this is how massively I must suck at PvP... I've probably spent around 20-25 hours in Cyro and I've yet to unlock Vigor... I'm main spec'd as a DK tank, but I've went as far as gathering up a DPS set, and even tried throwing on a resto staff and just healing the crap out of everyone...
I really only pvp to unlock the skills. I have 6 characters now with lvl 8 alliance. Took me 2-3 days of pvping to get there on each... It's really not hard at all. If anything it should be increased to require more xp..
It definitely does depend how experienced you are. I made a stam sorc recently and he had vigor when he was 5 hours old (3 hours getting to lvl 10 and grabbing some skill points, 2 hours actually farming AP) , but this is definitely not something I could have done when I first started playing. That said, it is nothing compared to the Undaunted and Fighter's Guild grinds.
Not that this is the most convenient method, but if you really hate PvP, then you should choose both a home and a guest campaign. Log in to each a few times a night and port between all friendly keeps and just fix the damaged walls. You don't need to even look at an enemy player, you don't need a group, and you are actually helping to buy time for keep defenses for those who actually want to PvP.
Then when all the stuff is fixed you just leave and go back to pve. Probably takes 3 hours of repairing to unlock vigor. Seems like a long time to stare at a wall, but it isn't even in the running for the most boring grind in this game.
