Should new crafted sets be introduced at the now redundant crafting stations?

Taking into consideration that in One Tamriel release all game zones become instantly available to every player, regardless of alliance or level, I see no purpose for having 3 copies of each set crafting station, one for each alliance. Many new dropped sets were introduced in each zone with this update, but no new crafted sets. In my opinion the higher the diversity of available sets, including crafted sets, the more interesting the game. Do you think some or all now redundant crafting stations should be repurposed in order to introduce new crafted sets?

They are not completely redundant. New players coming into their alliance zones and following the quests for that alliance will benefit from having them available where they always have been rather than having to travel to another point in Tamriel just for crafting purposes. It would be fine for me who has been to every nook and cranny and can wayshrine wherever I want to craft. I get the point though.

I agree. I would love it but it would be really intimidating for new players. And then we'd get all the complaints that X faction's sets were better than Y factions, etc.

Now that Craglorn is opening up for solo play, how about adding a couple new crafting stations in upper and lower Craglorn, though?

Most craftable sets are unused, either because they're not interesting or they underperform or both. Revamp these sets first before adding more. (E.g., virtually nobody used Kagrenac until they added the Spell Damage component to the 5p in Update 7.)

Yes, the redundant crafting stations should be re-purposed to craft new sets
    To answer the posts above:

New players won't go craft Hunding's Rage anyway, because researching 6 traits actually takes a few months. And there's no guarantee new players will actually stick to the starter areas of each alliance, since no area actually has a minimum level requirement. You can go directly to Bangkorai at level 4, straight out of the Wailing Prison, even if you are AD, and go discover the crafting stations but won't do you any good, since you have scarcely one trait researched - if you put the random training gear received at the end of the mission for research the 1st trait still takes 6 hours.

    A few additional propositions:

In order to eliminate confusion between set crafting locations, the game should introduce a subtext, similar to quest objectives, telling you what sets are actually crafted there. For example scrolling over Hatchling's Crown in Shadowfen displays below in smaller font "Hist Bark set". Also once you finish researching the X-th trait that allows you to use any of the crafting benches the objective turns white. For example the said location turns white once you finish research on the 4th trait on a piece gear, regardless of profession.

The new set crafting location could also be made lore friendly, or at least not unfriendly:

    Zone 1 (2 trait sets)
    - Ashen Grip - Stonefalls - the area is actually full of volcanoes, fire and ash, and both the name and the effect fit the geography
    - Death's Wind - Glenumbra - nothing for, nothing against, lore wise
    - Night's Silence - Auridon - nothing for, nothing against, lore wise

    Zone 2 (3 trait sets)
    - Torug's Pact - Stormhaven - the north-eastern part actually borders Wrothgar, the land of the orcs, and Torug was an orc chieftain
    - Twilight's Embrace - Deshaan - nothing for, nothing against, lore wise
    - Armor of the Seducer - Grahtwood - nothing for, nothing against, lore wise

    Zone 3 (4 trait sets)
    - Hist Bark - Shadowfen - Argonian area, only one that fits the name, lore-wise
    - Magnus' Gift - Greenshade - nothing for, nothing against, lore wise
    - Whitestrake's Retribution - Rivenspire - the Alessians actually fought the Direnni at a number of locations in High Rock

    Zone 4 (5 trait sets)
    - Alessia's Bullwark - Alik'r Desert - nothing against, lore wise, but Vampire's Kiss would not the fit the local culture - Reduards abhor vampirism and undead in general
    - Song of Lamae - Eastmarch - Lamae was a Nedic (ancient Nord) priestess that got *** by Molag Bal and turned Vampire
    - Vampire's Kiss - Malabal Tor - nothing for, nothing against, lore wise

    Zone 5 (6 trait set)
    - Hunding's Rage - Bangkorai - both Frandar and Divad Hunding are actually buried in the Hall of Heroes in the south of the province (see the last mission in the DC main quest)
    - Night Mother's Gaze - Reaper's March - the sneaky character of the local Khajiit (and the racial passive) fit the critical chance bonuses of the set
    - Willow's Path - The Rift - no actual willows, but the zone has a large lake and river; at least not lore unfriendly.

No, keep them as they are now
    Actually why not have BOTH.

CHANGE #1 At any crafting station you can craft any set you know.

CHANGE #2 Each of the special stations allows you to "learn" its specific set by crafting for it there once. So, if you craft an inferno julianos staff in wrothgar at that station, you now know that and can craft inferno julianos staff anywhere.

Now you can add new sets in replacing the duplicates fairly easily.

However, i am not sure from the newbie perspective that there is a lot to be gained from making low trait sets harder tpo find.
