    Depends on your build. There are some synergies between race and class, but actual build - whether is stamina and magicka matters more:
    - stamina: khajiit (for critical hit bonus), bosmer, redguard (for sustain), imperial (for health bonus)
    - magicka: altmer (for max magicka and magicka regeneration), dark elf, breton (if you want to go vampire and mitigate part of the vulnerability), argonian if you like to play magicka sap tank or healer

    I'm building a character from scratch dedicated sorely to Maelstrom Arena. A lot of people say that NB is the best class for it, so I want to build a perfect NB from race to specs, gear, skills, etc.

    Side Note: is the a way to edit #1 comment after it's been posted?

    I would still say dunmer/khajit. Everything melts so fast that sustain doesn't matter. I have a 574.5K with my dunmer magblade
