Ranking Classes From Best to Worst (Faso)

In PvE raids in terms of pure single target DPS I'd say:

1. Stam DK
2. Stam Sorcerer
3. Magicka Templar
4. Magicka Sorcerer
5. Magicka DK
6. Magicka NB
7. Stamina NB
8. Stamina Templar

Stamina DKs are by far the hardest hitting class (59k DPS WTF?!) with stamina sorcerers being a close second (and better in AoE DPS). Magicka Templars and Magicka Sorcerers are both very strong and its hard to say which one is better. Magicka DKs are a very close behind, they have the best PvE ultimate in the game (Standard of Might OP) but I have yet to see a DK do as much DPS as a magicka sorcerer can (49k?). From that point on, the last 3 are pretty much equal but Stamina Templar DPS just doesn't compare to other stamina builds and in my opinion magicka nightblades can out-DPS them without trying too hard. Stamina NB is okay I guess. Also magicka nightblades have a lot of utility so thats why I consider them to be superior to stamina nightblades.

I think that a perfect DPS team should look something like this: 1 Stam Sorcerer, 1 Stam DK, 2 Magicka Sorcs, 2 Magicka Nightblades, 1 Magicka Templar and 1 Magicka DK.

If I sat at my computer all day playing eso I'd be a grand overlord too. But I like to have IRL connections and be healthy, and do relevant things in actual life. You do you but I don't have the time to be a grand overlord. That's a time accomplishment; hence why you are a lot more invested than me. I don't think anyone is going to argue that a grand overlord is more invested in this game than a low rank pvp player. Lol. I don't understand why everyone says Manablade is ***. I see a few Manablades who are very strong and I would actually pick this class over Sorcerer at the moment (Manablade scales incredible well with Necropotence and has higher burst potential than Sorc). Also a Manablade got the second place in the last tournament on EU.
I'm leveling a Manablade at the moment and I'm pretty sure that I can beat almost every class except Dragonknight with permawings up or permablocking PvE tanks (but they shouldn't be able to kill me too).

no, i disagree. the most balanced magicka class is nightblade. and shields need their duration restored as light armor is complete garbage. make it so shields can't stack but they need the duration.

Endless hours of yelling at your computer and furiously typing away on forums and in whispers. You constantly tell yourself you're the best, that you matter. You go to bed dreaming of eso, you wake up and immediately step up to your desktop , thinking to yourself "only 1 million AP to grind today. I can do this, I can finally matter". Magblade is good they are just in a bad spot right now because of the meta. They lack burst and everyone is a tank now. the only reason I think sorc is better is simply because they hit harder. Curse, frag, commet, fury hits harder that spectral bow, commet. Magblade has better sustain dps than sorc, but that isn't as helpful in PvP. Magblade does have more utility than magsorc, but in reality right now magblade is just a magsorc with one less shield, no mines and a worse ability to reposition. These two classes basically play exactly the same.

If you don't see this, you either aren't paying attention or choosing not to see it.

Stam has better gear, better HoTs, more versatile heals, better damage avoidance, better mobility, an attribute it can dump without consequence, better burst, better non-damage/defensive abilities, more freedom to create their builds, and a better ultimate.

Magicka Temp is the only magicka spec that comes close to the total package and versatility that stam has atm.

Stam NB has still a lot of potential, but most people in this game use it as a cowardly ganker(from stealth) atm and kinda ruins how people see the class

Magblades still have Prox+Tether combo. and it's still a powerful combo. they're good with AOE burst. i do think they lack single target burst tho.

Honestly, I think youre better off ranking gear nowadays. Stamina builds arent nearly as overtuned when heavy armour and proc sets are taken out of the picture.

Naw I wouldn't say they deserve the last spot. They're probably harder to play than most classes (maybe with the exception of mDK), but they're a pretty well balanced class in general if played right, which I'm sure you do!

Magicka templars are the only ones that have a class based gap closer which does not work at all like in 1.6 or even worse.
