A normal person may not be bothered by these, but for Graphic Designers these makes you want to poke your eyes out. It's Typography 101.

    Good point. Subtitles in movies works that way as well. But there are simple coding for that. Orphan property controls the minimum number of lines of a paragraph that can be left on a page.

    Blame your screen resolution. The designer can easily manipulate a static body of type to avoid widows and orphans, but when it's fluid like some HTML, the client's computer is the one that dictates the width of the bounding box at that point. The type just wraps to fit.

    Same loading screen, two different window resolutions.

And yeah like you said, a coder can easily manipulate to avoid orphans in paragraphs depending on what web language they use (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/SQL).
