Difference vet vs normal Cradle of Shadows

With the new way of not making sequel stories, does that mean the normal and vet are same mechanics? Can i train for vet, by doing normal to get the mechanics? Is it just HP and Damage to difference or ?

Same dungeon, same enemies, same story. And mostly the same mechanics.

There are some differences in the mechanics (e.g., on Normal the spiders in the dark take full damage and the catacombs phase does not split the group), so some strategies that work on normal may not necessarily work on vet.

Is it correct that the Helmet also has a dropchance in the Normal. Or was that a bug they fixed?

If it does, anybody know the droprate in Normal?
