Downloading PTS

Sure would be nice if this PTS patch downloaded. After getting the "reliable source serving corrupt data" message at 0.03MB remaining I had to start over. Now it's been crawling down at 250kbps for hours. A few minutes ago I updated my Geforce driver which came barreling down at 10MB per sec. 380MB download in like 30 seconds. I've never got good throughput with ESO installers.

Katinas✭✭✭✭My PTS download speed is incredibly low. I managed to download only 15% of entire update in one day and I cannot leave my PC entire day. Paused the download before turning it off but it started from 0% next time.
I recently redownloaded the entire game and it took only 3-4 hours to download entire installation. Something is seriously wrong here. I am running the Launcher with Admin rights.0 -

Aletheion✭✭✭Well.. 8 hours later it finally got to 0.03MB Remaining again and stopped with "reliable source serving corrupt data".
I gave up and deleted the PTS folder and starting from scratch. it will download as much as 6MB/s.. then steadily drops to 250kbps.
What I wouldn't give for someone to zip up their PTS folder and post it to a real server...

Aletheion✭✭✭I'm glad to hear someone is not having trouble.. although I know not everyone is.
I have 125Mb connection and download games from Steam and various sources around 10MB/sec all the time. I've *never* got more then 1 or 2 MB from the ESO launcher. Right now, the PTS is bouncing between 250kbps and 2MB, but mostly staying between 250kbps and 700kbps. I wish I knew of a way to get it more consistent and reliable at high speed. The only bandwidth control in the launcher is the dropdown to limit the speed, but of course, I always have it at 10MB or Unlimited.
If there are any (legitimate) things to try that someone knows about to improve the connection, please do share.

✭Same problem. I've had mine running for 12 hours, still 20% with 2 crashes. It's download 20-50MB each time I "Pause" and then "Resume". But how am I gonna do that for another 80% -.-Ignorance is the greatest weapon of tyranny.

✭✭✭✭✭Add me to the list. I normally download at 2.3MB but it's typically a tenth of that most of the time with the PTS (and that's on my second computer with nothing else running). I ran it for a few hours yesterday and then again for about 11 hours today and it's showing 21% at the moment. It'll probably be completed about the time Update 12 goes live

I deleted by PTS folder a few months ago and I'm DLing the whole thing... going extremely slow. I normally get 5-6 MBs patch DL speeds for the live client. I'm averaging about 500 KBs for the PTS DL today.0 -

Aletheion✭✭✭My friend... who I now believe is a BIG FAT LIAR!!! said his PTS downloaded a few hours ago fast and only took about 30 minutes for the patch from PTS 2.4 (which is where mine was too) and he's in game checking things out now.
He's Time Warner east coast, I'm Comcast west coast maybe carrier/coast makes a difference but I sure wouldn't think so.
I've still not received a screenshot from him.. until so.. LIAR CONFIRMED!! :-P

I did the dumb pause and resume which downloaded around 80-100mb each time.. wasn't too bad for 5 gigs. It failed again at 0.03MB remaining, but at that point I did the repair and it downloaded another 8gb or so and today it's done and I'm actually logged in. Wow.. 3 days it took, but I'm finally in.
