Duelling Arena!

So as it happens, there is a duelling arena in-game already! All of you asking for arenas got your wish.

If you head to Stormhaven and leave Wayrest, you are bound to bump into these flags:

On the map it is shown by crossed swords, and it is called Hammerdeath Arena:

Follow the flags and you are greeted by a great entrance:

Inside there are three duelling arenas, two large and one small, with plenty of spectator area:

Come try your best and duel your friends!

This area is closed off on Live. There are several arena style areas in the game like this which we'll be looking into using for Mighty duel events outside of Cyrodiil. Looks like good fun! Thanks for thinking of this, ZOS.

A good place to go and to stay out of towns. I believe that ZOS should disable in town dueling for it causes lag, make cluster of people, hard to hear NPC dialog and gets in the way of RP'ing.

Wish wayshrine was closer, hopefully it becomes the duel hub it was intended to be.

Hmm have been meaning to try out the new build after all isn't the the point of PTS ?

Plus now we can turn the Khavatch arena into a actual arena now too.... Just have to you know kill the boss when they appear.

I remember going though the zone story and finding lore books and NPCs make mention of the arena and always hoped it would open up. Thanks for the work.

Spruce a bot more amd give ot a wayshrine of its own can we also het a few coldharbor ones high up on the floating islands? Maybe a few I'm craglorn on the pretty lakes they have like an island a magma one like balreths boss room etc

I think this has been in the works for a while! This note has been sitting at the Stormhaven Torug's Pact crafting station (HAMMERDEATH Workshop) for as long as I can remember.

Yay happy for you guys, now all the guys dueling right next to the bridges/keeps/towers in the middle of IC zones next to bosses and flags can shut up when I kill them cause they have safe protected places to go duel the hell away from RvR!!!

Seriously though glad this is in no joke grats guys bout time!!!

The place was a buzz on PTS so I can only image on Live it should be pretty chaos but awesome at the same time! Fight club tournaments will definitely be using these grounds.

In fact, all 5 crafting stations and a dye station could be really useful. This also goes for DSA and MA - show the arenas some inventory-management love!

^ YES! I cannot tell you how many times I gone to vMA only to realize that I don't have any potions and I can't craft any there so I need to port out... while we are at it a wayshrine for transit out of vMA is also in order lol.
