What Is Your Favourite Type Of Mount and Why

What's your favourite type of mount and why. Personally I really do not know. Either guar or the dire wolf. Horse are kind of boring but cool. I hate the bumps while you ride bears but the armor looks really nice on them. People look like complete idiots riding a lion/big cat but the armor looks nice (no offense just my opinion).

I like the Senche.

I'm a "Cat" guy, and being able to call up a sleek, powerful Senche to carry me to my destinations is perfect for me.

I have them all (except for the PC exclusives), now I just need ZOS to make a "Siberian" Senche and I'll be a happy Dunmer.:)

I love my Tiger but I'm really a purist and think horses are for riding. I don't mind the guar but I think the wolves just look wrong. They are too big.

Animation-wise, the guar looks the best and is the smoothest ride. On the opposite spectrum is the clunky, wobbly bear that looks downright bumpy.

Besides it's Lore friendly that a Khajiit would be partnered with a Senche. They're like Cousins.

Trust me sometimes I get dizzy riding the bear. Looks real nice though. Gonna try out my new guar and make my decision.

Just a plain old horse for me. Like the idea of the other mounts more than I like the reality - never look quite right to me.

I think the wolf just seems cool and less obvious to say, a horse.

I do like to pair my toons with what I perceive to be like for like. So for instance, my Dark Elf will use a Guar, the Nord a bear, the Redguard a camel and the Bosmer uses a wolf or cat.

The wolf appears silent and gives the impression that it moves much faster than the other mounts. The speed is the same IK, but it is the impression of silky, smooth anime that you get with a wolf (or cat) that does it for me.

Maybe I'm over-thinking things a bit, but "Lions" and "Big Cats" are not the same thing as a Senche...

You might as well have put wolves and bears under "Woodland Creatures".

Anyway, Senche is my preference. Anything else just seems too tall now.

(And speaking of too tall, I just noticed you forgot the camel...)

First time I saw the bosmer I knew I had to get a wolf mount.(any fellow "oldtimers" ever read Elfquest knows what I was thinking) wanted a black wolf and when the doom wolf came out Blood Howl, a WW Bosmer stamina sorcerer was born.

Senche just seem to small to ride, as do the wolves. I would not trust a bear as far as I can throw it, and it looks like a hard ride. Camels, well, they just spit. Guar remind me of the evil Empire.

Horses are where it's at.

Can't say. I love all different mounts (apart from the camal) depending on which of my characters I am playing.
If I'm my Argonian I like a Guar. If I'm my khajit I like the king lion etc.

lol... I always play Argonians and I won't ride demean another another lizard by riding around on it. I have a Senche for that.

I love the big cats. I have the Tiger, the clouded leopard, the black panther, and I'm sorry to say even the really expensive black and blue one. I didn't really love the lions as much. I'm anxious to see the data mined one - I cannot remember the name but it looks like it is made out of vines and branches maybe?

I have a few horses and one of the wolves too.

Somehow I have an ugly guar mount that I don't remember buying.....

It was a tough call. I actually REALLY love quite a few of my horses. Although often I find myself riding senche because "danger" seems more their thing. For some quiet exploration and fishing trips I prefer horses though.

Horse, it's just the classic knight in shining armor on a fiery steed look that I'm going for (literally since I use the Nightmare Courser). I use a Guar on my Argonians though, seems more fitting (the Hist Guar specifically, I went for the collectors edition of the Hist DLC just because it was so cheap and I just bought the Crowns on sale as well).
