scamp and soul shriven skin drop rate?

Does anybody know if these drops are random because my brother did no dps or damage and got the skin?

I don't think anyone knows the actual drop rate as far as I can tell however a fair amount of people claim they get at least one drop in 100 kills. One thing to note is that only the top 12 players who tagged Molag Bal get a chance for them. It probably took me 15 or so kills to get the Scamp but I had very high dps.

Nope not true, I've got the skin with more than 12 player around as a healer. Havent done much damage compared to the rest of the group.

I was in a group of 4 and we took down Molag and 2 of us got the Pet on the first kill

This was my first time in IC for a long time

I have done center about 300 times

I have gotten about 15 scamps (13 today alone)

And 15 or so runes.

No skin.

Molag Bal is only lootable for 12 players upon death:

• 10 players who dealt the most damage
• 2 players who dealt the most healing to allies

That's it.

We did it 100+ times last night. We all got a bunch of Scamps, but not one person got a skin. Not even anybody in any of my guilds

This is not true.

Last night, I was entering that last 'handle' shaped area when I hear him emerge "submit to the will of molag bal". I burn magica chaining gap closers to leapfrog through those dremora, then stamina to get out and across to the group, all of them chasing me.

I get there in time to land ONE ranged shot of vampires bane on molag bal. and I got a small loot drop from him.

It's random. It's not the biggest damage or the mostest heals. It is random.

So the most important thing you do to get any loot at all from him, is to show up.

I'm beggining to think it's random. Last night there was like 24+ players on Molag Bal, I had aggro on him as dps but didn't get any loot upon his death.

only 12 better dps ( i d'ont kno for heal and tank ) can loot molag .

Got both the skin and pet at the same time in my second Molag Bal kill just yesterday. YAY!!! Oh, I am just a casual PVEr so thats good for me
