They should add special weapons similar to maelstrom with wep dmg bonus etc abd effects to skill lines as rare drops from final bosses of dungeons like skoria greatsword, kena staff, bow from archer in selenes, I mean make it rarer than helm drops the old way make em have different skill effects. I feel it would add more reason aside from helms to run dungeons once I got perfect helmet combo I don't feel like doing that dungeon anymore. ..

    This kinda stuff would definitely mox ot up and not make everyone in nirn weilding the same weapon... go to mournhold 40 ppl same weapons... and most master weapins are lack luster effect and visual.

    There are other weapons, they called masterweapons and drop in vdsa. I dont like the idea, because the dungeons are to easy. You guys want powerfull weapons from easy content. I would find it ok if they bring dungeons like vcoa back to the level when they were releast, but then you would call for a nerf.

    While I wouldn't mind if they offered such weapons, I feel they would need to be vastly inferior to Maelstrom/Master Weapons but slightly better than crafted weapons to be worth anything.

    Instead of giving any form of Weapon or Spell Damage/Crit/etc. I feel that they should offer a generic thing to their skill line.

    Dual Wield skills now deal X disease damage
    1h+shield skills now have a % chance to restore health/magic/stamina by X. This effect can only happen once every 10 seconds.
    2h skills now deal X irresistible damage
    Bow Skills now have a % chance to blind the enemy 2 seconds. This effect can only happen once every 10 seconds.
    Destro staff skills has a % chance to cause an enemy to explode on death for X magic damage
    Resto staff skills now create a X damage shield on allies healed at full health for 6 seconds.

    Things like that, that make them both unique but not outright the best either. They have mild usage and while some can be seen as actually fairly powerful, also realized that they are % based and that some have cooldowns.

    I really don't understand why quite a large part of forum population is so adamant against any type of meaningful alternatives to the vDSA/vMSA weapons. Something that is placed in the middle between these weapons and the crafted stuff (the gulf is already very wide here) and that takes some effort to get (like running the new veteran dungeons). What you were proposing is really no alternative as the use cases are really not there.

    We already have gotten some middle-tear stuff with the new dungeons (vDSA not so much IMHO), now please give us them weapons to go along with.

    Those ideas are okay, but they don't make them useful. They would continue to go right to the vendor without second thought.

    Yes because you don't know what people went through to get those VMA weapons in good traits. For something similar to them to be handed out that easily after all they've went through, hurts alot. I like this idea but the gear cannot be close to the level of VMA weaps.

    why not , but les good than the maesltrom weapon . and Much magicka weapon ! stam have dagger/arc of the master arena + all other weapons of maesltrom arena ! they are enough cheat

    Hmm here's a fix scaled the 186 dmg bonus down to like 124 for 2 handers and 86 for one handed. It takes a bit of the bite off them since easier to get. Makes them a middleground between 160 and maelstrom running some might make the climb to maelstrom more bearable.

    Some might find a niche use in builds. Especially if they offer effects to compliment skills other than the ones that amelstrom or master buff up

    Actually I do know the pain you were going through, I have enough friends who have completed that endeavor. But nobody is asking for that, what we asking is some chance to work toward weapons that lie somewhere in the middle between the crafted weapons and the vMSA stuff. Not everyone is able to finish the arena and for them to be forever stuck to the crafted weapons is as insulting to them as would be handing out vMSA weapons to you.

    So, to make it clear, there should be some challenges to yield weapons that like somewhere in between. Because currently the game developers are obviously are only catering for the "easy crowd" (the nDSA nerf for example is just funny) and the "hard core crowd" with very little in between (the new vet dungeons were a good start). vDSA and the Master Weapons would have been a good way to archive that, but trying to archive that with basic gear is extremely hard.
