and all I get are crappy 140 CP loot at the end of the boss fight. I had to decon all of what I got just to get at least something for all of my troubles of dealing with random players.

@ZOS_JasonI @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_KaiSchober @ZOS_GaryA @ZOS_TristanK @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

When are you going to do something about this? You make us fight 160CP enemies yet your game is giving us below level loot in a veteran dungeon! For normal I could understand, but this is outrageous! All veteran dungeons should be spitting out 160CP loot no matter what.

I've actually been quite lucky with randoms lately. Just that tonight was meh.

I would join a PvE guild if ZoS expanded the amount of guilds that we can join.

Given you can already have 5 compared to 1 inmost games...

Can only hope. The old 3-piece sets are still useless though but the vCOA sets are needing an update. As for damage to armour, always carry around repair kits. I've got a ton of them from crafting writs.

1k is really a pittance, especially at cp160 or above. The real question we should be asking is what did you learn from all those deaths in vet CoH?

The answer is that they are fixing this in update 12. The other answer is that if you have a 1k repair bill from vCOH, you should stop dying all the time

My build isn't for survival. It's designed for groups... trials and dungeons, and not for solo play. My toon heavily depends on the healer for heals. It's kind of hard not to die when the healer doesn't know how to heal, and that the other players don't have good gear. I know... shame on me for using Pugs... but I just wanted to get my pledges over with and done with ASAP.

When is this update 12 going to be released? How long are we going to be getting screwed with this 140 loot before this update is released?

RNG = Random Number Generator. In context it refers to your random drops.
BDO = Black Desert Online (at least I think that's what @P3ZZL3 is referring to), which is another MMO a lot of people were excited about recently, but which I've heard a lot of bad things about (but to be clear I haven't tried it, so maybe it's actually awesome).

If you design your build to rely on your group members, then refuse to join a pve guild and insist on playing with pugs, you're going to have a bad time. You're setting yourself up for these sort of situations by the sound of it. Either build for survival so you can pick up the slack in a pug or get into a guild. Either way, stop complaining about things that are completely able to be controlled by you if you change up your thought process a bit. If you're not in a pve guild and you're not in any trade guilds (since 1000g seems to be an astronomical amount), then what are your 5 guilds?

You are definitely right about the loot. This all should have been cp160 loot as soon as the cap was raised.

You can do most vet dungeons with 4 dps.

Slot a resto or vigor. No way should you die that much on coh.

I agree with the v14 loot though. It's all completely useless.

In my experience every character should be able to do a moderate amount of self heals and not rely completely on the healer, otherwise what happens if the healer goes down, everyone dies?

You are indicating that in this instance you are the only one who was set up correctly and knew what they were doing. Not everyone is an 'expert' at the game, knows the best setup for their character and plenty of people are still learning. Instead of saying that everyone else needs to L2P or get out, maybe you need to look at whether you should be running in PUGS.

I will simply repeat what I have said before, if you expect every member of your group to be perfect or near perfect at their nominated role, please stay away from PUG's and find a guild.

That's not a valid excuse. Everyone needs a degree of self-sustain, yes, even in trials. Sometimes healers will go down. Sometimes there is just so much incoming damage (particularly vMoL final boss) that you need to take personal responsibility for your survival.

But in the case of vCoH specifically, the final boss (which is the only boss that's really challenging) is an extremely DPS-centric fight. The only time you need a tank for any part of vCoH is for kiting the wraiths around for the gold key challenge, but any DPS with good survival can do that.

All five of Nerien'eth's most deadly attacks--his crystals, his big skull, the necrotic explosion centered around him, his player pickup, and his charge in the final execute phase--are attacks that ignore a tank's taunt and target indiscriminately (as a tank, I generally feel very useless in vCoH). His attacks are tests of situational awareness: you should be sidestepping the crystals as they spawn, you should be rolling out of his necrotic explosion AoE, you should be dodging (or blocking, but dodging is preferred) the big skull attacks as they are launched, and when he does his charge in the final phase, the person being targeted must block. There really isn't much for the healer to do in the final boss fight because the amount of incoming normal damage is actually very low, and all the big damage spikes that require emergency heals are all things that can be avoided.

Don't blame it on the tank or healer (I've 2-manned vCoH, with the gold key challenge, with no healer or tank). vCoH, more so than most other dungeons, is also a test of a DD's awareness, reaction, and overall ability to avoid damage.

All that having been said, my first time clearing vCoH was a long ordeal that ruined my armor. The important thing is what you learned from all that.

1k gold in repair costs, but you will still net gold from the entire run itself.
