has anyone tried the widowmaker set yet ?

i pulled a few pieces of this, including a sharpened one handed sword. curious is anyone is running it yet and their thoughts on it

I am also curious.... ran cradle last night and came out with a neck, ring and couple of armor pieces.
Seems like a big damage boost but it would be hard to beat out VO or even willpower/leki's combo.

Pvp set imo. Viper, velidreth, widow maker. Prix all 3 and have the possibility of 1 shooting people.

Looks like it could be a nice alternative to agility as a 4 pc too.

I use it for pve, run the poison that increases damage to my target by 8%, very good for the raids

I've been basically 1 shot about 3 times in a row by this set, so it's working just dandy. The same person executed me, and all 5 hits were just under 5K that all hit me in about 2 seconds from full health to dead with 27K resists...and 26K hps.

It's working too good. My deathlog was all Widowmaker.

I got one shotted by a NB from stealth with this,

Not really one shotted but went from full health to no heath in less than half a second,

ive been running it with the velidreth set --- seems pretty nasty.

but finally got the red mountain set last night --- gonna try that now.

Tried it both in pve and pvp, pvp its nasty with the helm- pve on raids it was ok , i run it with the boss takes 8% more damage poison but i pref other sets for pve.

It's a DOT that does more damage than actual skills. It's a joke. PvP has come to the point where I am fighting (stamina) gear sets rather than other players.

So I see you ran into @Durotan too lol. Lemme dig up one of my screenshots I snapped as I was gibbed by him and @Hasan. Kudos to them for using what was given to them. I went into the keep with 6 and we all melted before we knew what hit us Time to adjust once more and chase the carrot. At this point...oh nevermind lol. I'll have to capture my combat log next time I run into this as I cannot imagine Shrouded Daggers proccing this, or is it? as a weapon skill (DW) though it seemed to have very little cooldown as I died in what seemed like less than 2 seconds.

[EDIT after coffee] - It's capable of being a Ranged AOE Freakin DOT - Great Combat Medic is back from SWG What the heII. Another one for Stam sets.. omg. I have to laugh as Stam ranged abilities are melting face at range too lol.

As an Ex Sorc Main I also noticed how little the Sorc's damage did to you, as you must have been blocking. LOL 987 Crystal Frag, its funny to me cause it's so sad...

Wait. this Widowmaker set procs when poison procs (once per 10 sec) or it procs when poison ticks?
Btw why is damage so high? Should it be reduced by Battle Spirit?

It procs when poison procs, but you can swap bar and proc a different poison and there by, reproc it.

It procs when poison procs, but you can swap bar and proc a different poison and there by, reproc it.

And It's AOE...lol

If you have the double poison proc, then the widowmaker will proc for each initial hit, so you get 2 procs of it at once.

No, it's just dropped or crafted poisons. Not poison damage in general

Faught a person earlier this week who had widow maker, viper, velidreth. Yes they can all proc at once. Skilless set up imo buy it works.

I have eternal hunt with velidreth, its mean as well. Been thinking of adding viper instead of agility and lekis weapons.

There are crafted poisons that have 2 separate poison proc elements to them. Like a damage health poison with a 1700 poison dot for 4.5 sec and another lesser poison proc for like 1100 for 6.6 seconds.

There's a drain health one too. Does same damages as the above, but gives you health back.

When each separate component procs on those poisons, then widowmaker procs on each. Hence the double proc.

I could see a Dual Weilding Nightblade (Velidreth, Viper, and Widowmaker) making this work for fantastic effect.
Spamming a Shadowy Disguise(guaranteed Crit) to Shrouded Daggers at 20 meter range which is a weapon skill, double poison procs.

But it gets better, Shadowy disguise is going to bounce around to up to 2 additional targets, and when the AOE fires it's an AOE poison. Noice.

If the enemy dares get in melee range they will be walking into Velidreth & Viper as both will Fire.

Strong Kung Foo potential.

Because the poisons I mentioned above are 2 distinctly different poisons, they do not share the same 10 sec cooldown. So you could open up in a 30k Templar with poison injection, get the poison and double widowmaker proc, switch to crit rush, and have the same thing happen again in under 3 sec. Thus a successful gank on a 30k temp.

The cheese potential is strong with this set.

Eternal Hunt is the 9 trait crafted set that drops the green circles on the ground when you dodge roll. Enemies run into the circle and take damage and get rooted for a second and a half.
