Pretty soon you can add vSotH dungeons to that list. Tried to run cradle of shadows last night and the last boss is no joke.

Our Guild Lone Wolf Help spent several Monday evenings doing training runs for those two dungeons. For just this reason, to do the Vet Pledges. Even then, I will won't do them as a Pledge, I don't want to hold the group back.

That might be a way to get ready it so train with best practices on the Normal Mode of the dungeons, acting like you have the same boss mechanics to deal with.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

This is a good thing. I'm glad theres a mix of challenging dungeons in there. It blows when you miss a pledge, -trust me I feel you on that- but in the long run some super difficult small man content is good because it gives folks looking for a challenge stuff to do too.

If you're PS4, add me at Mortehl and if you're not terribad, I'll tank for you. :-)

We had a nice Lone Wolf group try vWGT last night. It was going pretty well up until the Planar Inhibitor stopped us in our tracks.

She wiped us plenty of times, but with all four of us coordinating in voicechat, we were definitely making progress and getting better each time. Unfortunately, it was getting late and we had to disband to get some sleep, but I don't doubt we would have cleared it eventually.

The Planar Inhibitor is a real piece of work, huh?

@raidentenshu_ESO Lone Wolf Help is actually having a pledge run event tonight and some folks might give vICP or nICP a shot (not sure if I'll be able to make it though). Hit up @Nestor or @Miszou or me in game and we can send you an invite.

It's all about coordination. They're dungeons that require some degree of communication. Despite being wholly doable silent, if you can use voice chat, please do (this is easier on console than PC).

Similarly, I wouldn't say that vICP, vWGT, vCOS, or vROM are necessarily hard as much as they require communication, and attempting to do those without that can get difficult.

For example, on vWGT and vROM, a single poor player can stop a great group from clearing the dungeon. Just 1 person who doesn't pay attention that well will continually cause wipes.

One reason why I don't have a full set of Spell Power Cure even though I main healer is because you need a decent group to clear vWGT because of the Planar Inhibitor. Trust me, if I could run it with 3 other copies of myself, it'd be an easy time to clear that dungeon. But there are plenty of people who leave the pinion up, or don't kill portals well (I'll admit that I'm not the greatest at spotting the portals, but I can clear them all with 0 to 2 adds spawning).

Just need to find a good, coordinated group for vWGT and vICP. vROM and vCOS are harder in terms of difficulty, but it'll be doable with a coordinated group.

Welcome to this lovely thing called "mechanics."

Keep at it. When ICP first came out it was a real chore. With a little practice, you can do it in your sleep. If you have specific questions, there are lots of know-it-alls around here that would love to help (looks in mirror).

Several months ago, I got the Necrotic Hoarvor pet for getting no-death and speed-run on both vICP and vWGT. These days, the two dungeons feel easy.

But what you probably don't know is this: For a while after vICP and vWGT first came out, I did the pledges in normal mode for a silver key because I didn't feel ready for vet. And when I did get around to doing vWGT--after I felt like normal was just too boring--my first clear took a painfully long 2+ hours. My first clear of vICP didn't happen until later, and that was worse--a 3+ hour wipefest.

Start simple. Work your way up. What seems impossible today will seem like cake walk down the road, once you've had time and practice. There's nothing wrong with wading into the pool instead of jumping into the deep end.
