Oh, totally forgot to thank all of the dc on Monday night who had a shovel party on my corpse after ep got wiped as Alessia (?? I forget where, I'm old). Seriously, 10 dc crowded around my body all doing /shovel was hilarious!

I had a bit of fun with another DC player the other day. I don't consider my skills that great, not sure about the other player, but we were successfully holding off 5 EP in the open field and occasionally killing 1 or 2 for a good 20 minutes or so. They would then rez at the nearby keep and come back and join the fun. Finally took us out when one of the recently deceased set up a fire ballista when they rejoined the fight.

Ha! Sounds like a good time. I know I have done that, fighting someone who is stronger than me... rezed up and went to find them again. I like the challenge of fighting someone better than me, finding a different tactic, trying it out, seeing what works... usually I just end up dead, but fun nonetheless!

Guess what, they are nerfing aspects of my build. That's the biggest issue for me is, it takes all that time to farm that crap and transmute it to have it all be a big waste of time and resources.

Good small fights are hard to find anywhere now to learn from. There doesn't seem to be any dueling guilds around anymore.
I could be wrong, but that's where I learned and from the regulars beating my head in daily.

My warden is also almost done, lvl 47 and not coming back to kyne after. Looks like all major expedition skills are getting normalized to 4 seconds and speed pots are on the chopping block for next week. I am actually glad to see it. I HATE this speed meta.

Blood, thats the problem with all the niche builds people run. Wast of time. Make a build that you dont have to adjust with every change. I can run my gear on my Magtemp and MagDK. Just a couple of solid sets. Just stay away from the FOTM and youll do just fine without re-gearing all the time.

Yes, there are crappy players in vet, but not as many as in kyne, be honest here. I mean, the bad players here are REALLY bad, to the point where a good player can straight up 1v5.

I've played a bit in non vet around Summerset release, but it was some hybrids builds most of the times. It was new stuff, and it gave a chance to the new players. When I played magsorc, it was a total massacre and I felt like an ***. But I've played there exclusively for about 1 year and half, so I can't *** about experienced player playing there.

And yes, Vivec is a shitshow if you fight at frontier keeps, but recently, my groups have been harassing brindle/vlas and drakelow/crops and we got some really balanced and fun fights, even if we were just 6-7.

And there is always Shor and Sotha that really aren't that zergy. You can get some great small/med scale there.

You should do a few weeks of BWB, make it feel like the old days when there were really good fights
