Yeah, that would be kinda fun... I'd have to lvl up a DC toon, however. My crafter is DC, but not sure I'd want to use him....

yeah, its a pain in the ass with a crafter lol ... having to reallocate all the points and stuff.... i did that once... then had to swap back to do crafting.... wont do that again lol

I just run solo (zerg surf) or run with one friend. We still rock our lowbies in vivec. Not too often I even log on my vet. The server is not very objective based like we are all used too so a group really isnt needed. I find it to be a much more laid back place to play around. Much like Camelot in Monty Python, Tis a silly place. A whole group of OP lowbies in vivec would be amazing!

I did roll a DC last weekend. Couldnt bring myself to take him to kyne cause the map was a bit blue ; ) Instead I lvl'd him to 10 and slapped on my stupid gear and dueled with him. Got my fastest win ever on him. 4 seconds flat against a max cp guy that thought he would just buff and stand ther lmao. He finally beat me the 5th time we dueled. He was baffled how a lvl 10 could be so stronk so I showed him my build in pvt.

I know I cant be the only one who likes to play lowbies for that reason. They are very strong and ther is no reason to not use them in the vet camps, esp for those who know how to build them right.

Hmmm... maybe I will think of a new build and roll a DC... I've always been fond of templars, but I think my most viable build has been my stam dk.

I'm just gonna put this here for Colours and Stridig : finally got that bleedin' chicken dinner. Only took 156 hours .... apparently I'm a scrub everywhere I go (a happy, having fun sort of scrub, though.)

@casparian The big thing about Kyne for me is the sense of community, especially in DC. You feel like people care, they communicate and there's very little drama these day. There's also the healthy rivalry from guilds/regulars, rarely see tri keep camping and prime time is pretty balanced compared to the other 2 minor campaigns.

You are right about the noobs tho. I've seen a couple who didn't know how to CC break and just stood there on the ground for the full 6 second from my Invasion, when they clearly had the stam since they were just light attacking me for 10 sec. Or someone keeping snipe spamming against my wings. When I have time, I try to PM them and tell em what they did wrong.
I just wish those newer player were more talkative about it and asked for help. Those are very basic things. Sometime I feel like some people just don't care at all.

@Lumsdenml , DC is pretty accepting of folks - especially PUGz. I played with them for a couple hours yesterday evening (I think I killed you once or twice ). It was honestly a pleasure to hang out in TS with them and they're remarkably positive. The zone chat is too helpful and positive. It honestly reminds me of when GONB was running alongside Byte and Pugz (given that we weren't indulging ourselves in Bleakers or Dragonclaw).

AD is such a toxic version of what it used to be. It's really amazing how guilds like AA and GM have changed the culture of that alliance.

Congrats! Was it solo or duo/squad? I've never gotten a solo chicken dinner before, but I've gotten multiple duo and squad chicken dinners by riding on the back of my teammates.

Low-key, one of my favorite things about playing low level characters is beating max-level characters who assume they should automatically win a fight because of the level difference. It doesn't happen often, but every now and again I would run into a high-level player picking fights with low-level players in starter zones to feel better about his or herself, so I would kill them with my twinked-out Kyne character to feel better about myself.

I've always tried to do this too, and you seem to get a mixed bag when it comes to the other player's response. Most of the time they just ignore me or say very little in return, but sometimes the other person is very receptive to it, even to the point where I've ended up spending several hours talking about builds, teaching somebody animation canceling, crafting somebody gear, etc. On the other side of the coin, I've had a few people suddenly go on complete tirades against me, calling me things that can't be repeated on these forums and saying I should even be in Kyne. And to their credit, maybe they're right that I shouldn't have been playing in Kyne at that point, but at least I tried to help new players as much as I could, just as experienced players who "shouldn't be playing in Kyne" helped me when I was new to the game.

Your so spot on with how AD is , every day is nothing but bickering about what should get done . Main reason why I’ve switched to small man and just look for good fights/ganks. Was at roe the other day arriving to a siege line and they were hitting the side posters door using ice trebs, I tired yelling twice saying use regular balistas or stone trebs to hit the wall not the door but the only response was “ you mad bro” . After that I told them have fun getting slaughtered then and rode off.they were also just standing in stupid taking tons of damage from scattershot. If it wasn’t for the fact that I play on a ad only small man group guild , i would of switched to ep.Tons of juicy ad people I’ve been wanting to gank .

@Dysturbedfan , it’s not just the toxicity. It’s the lack of communication period. There’s just nothing in zone because of this weird paranoia about zone spies that GMs are justifying by saying “it happened once or twice.”

Thanks. It was duo, I did get the kill, though. Didn't even realize it was the final guy until the match complete screen popped; I was too busy making sure no one could get behind me. Never fired a shot until the last three minutes, just coasted in with the line and let 'em kill each other.My teammate never fired a shot at all, but kept throwing stuns to hold the guy's attention (credit where credit's due).

You all kept me up too late last night. On a side note, it doesn't really bother me that our group of 7 died to 30 AD a couple of times. Because if there were only 20 of those same AD, we would have repeatedly wiped them. Keep on baggin' fellas. It only bothers me when I get bagged by good players. And that's not y'all.
