What gear does everyone use on their kyne magicka sorc? I tried a 5H/2L build with 5 julianos, blood thorn resto backbar seducer 4 piece. Getting streak has been a game changer when I would normally get mobbed down I usually can make a quick escape.

I use the same on all my Kyne mag toons. 5 Kags, 5 Seducer and 2 Torugs. 5 heavy.

I have been running 5 shackle 5 spinner in 5l or 5h since morrowind. Now with Summerset I get the added torugs staff.

I've run Spinner and VD + Magnus staves 7L. If you want something more forgiving, i'd go with Spinners and Shackle 5L 2H.
I go with magnus over torugs to get higher max mag to get bigger shields and I also have Inner light on front bar.

@Fur_like_snow , I'll put mine out there as a bit more of a solo build - I know that everyone else who has mentioned builds tends to play with others.

I run 5x shacklebreaker, 5x seducer, 2x willpower with trifood and mage mundus. I have a 19k stam pool, 1800 magicka recovery (without major intellect), and 1000 stam recovery. I can break free for days and once I hit level 30 dark magic I'll be able to do dark conversion all the time for more magicka sustain. You sit at around 3k spell damage (with infused spell/weapon damage glyph procced which if you're weaving on defensive bars it's easy to do) without a major sorcery buff (I haven't morphed power surge yet and didn't do any mage's guild grind). All of this is just using purple gear and blue jewelry for now.

I've changed some things to adapt to sload's meta. One, I run rapid regen on my back bar and I shifted my major ward/resolve/expedition buff to my overload bar. Second big change is just a preference for power surge over degeneration (imo, never take structured entropy) - it gives a pretty reliable HOT to supplement rapid regen. I've dropped harness magicka this patch and I'm just running healing ward/hardened ward - realistically, I should move curse to my back bar and front bar hardened ward but old habits die hard.

I keep my overload bar with rapids (because slow pony), bolt escape, hardened ward, dark exchange once I get it, and boundless storm. I'll swap out streak for mines eventually. Otherwise, I'd swap bolt escape/mines out for encase if I were doing group play to give some more utility at breaches, etc.

Edit: also, go lizard wizard and you won't regret it. Not getting major defile is swell when people are using disease glyphs/damage and the potion passive is fantastic. Also, always 7 light on a magsorc in kyne. The heavy armor passives add essentially nothing and I don't need the max health as a lizard wizard.

Don’t think I’ve had that much fun in awhile , the alesswell fight was a blast. Nice sportsman ship also. Think I’m gonna do more keep ganking than field ganking from now on lol.

@Lumsdenml btw man.... i recorded my last scroll run lol ..... took roughly 12 mins to run from Bloodmayne all the way to Warden .... and thats with stopping a few times to chat in zone chat, do pushups, jumping jacks and get stuck on pebbles LOL ... ran it completely alone while the rest of the group i was in went for the other scroll lol ... at one point in time in the vid i turn the camera all the way around to show ZERO people around me lol

Haa haa... a couple of free kills would always be appreciated. And again, I'll stress, cloak and hide NBs are my Achilles heel. Notice I killed you when you couldn't cloak...

I spent some time in Kyne this weekend for the first time since last summer. I was surprised by how different it felt from the vet campaigns -- I had forgotten just how different. A few things I noticed:

- Performance is really good even in Vivec-sized keep fights. I have no idea what's different in Kyne, but it makes large battles run surprisingly smoothly.
- The old regulars who are still around are typically great people. A certain EP kept calling me out for 1v1s and cancelling them without showing up, but otherwise people I thought I remembered as salty or unsocial weren't anything like the way I remembered. I got more respect-whispers from opponents in a single afternoon than in the last month of playing Shor.
- Kyne struggles with some of the population balance issues that Shor does -- much of the time I was on, Blue held the entire emp ring and had double the population of both Red and Yellow -- but with two big differences: while I was on, the dominant faction didn't push to home keeps, and there were enough people interested in the campaign that the population imbalance was soon rectified by a Yellow zerg logging on (and a Red one soon after that). There are more players interested in Kyne than in Shor. That was a real surprise to me.
- The noobs! Ye gods the noobs. I won't be coming back to Kyne because, even though I'm far from a top-tier player, I have no business in this campaign. Most players I ran into didn't heal, only attacked while standing still, didn't LOS, and seem not to have heard of ults. Even some of the engagements I ended up losing should have ended far sooner than they did. Face it, BWB/Kyne vets: the vast majority of players you're facing in Kyne are people who don't know how to play the game very well, and your performance in Kyne isn't an accurate measure of your skill. I would support ZOS implementing a cap on the maximum number of characters you can take through Kyne.

Ran into MajBlud (sp????) yesterday at Arrius Farm. Was pugging out and saw him with 3-4 other DC around him. I YOLOed in and focused him... got him down to about 10%, chasing him around and around the building that you can go into (barn?), all the while other DC pounding on me.... After doing about 5 laps around this thing they finally got me down, but I never did get Maj below about 10%. I almost fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard!

Honestly, I would probably have moved to vet by now if it were not for my guild, who is Kyne only. Love running with those guys, and it just sounds like a lot of work looking for another guild that I like in vet...

tbh.... PUGz of Daggerfall originally was a Kyne ONLY guild .... but we transitioned to being vet as well.... it all comes down to if the guild as a whole is interested in doing so .... PUGz just so happened had a good handful of people that were ready to make the jump
