Can be when it comes to templars buffs or something like rally, or grim focus from nightblade or whatever else plus its just nice to when they are gonna end so you can get a chance to reapply if needed before a fight or whatever else in pvp, Go hide behind a rock and recast or something, And tbh when in the moment you're not looking at your character for glowing purple hands or your weapon glowing from something, You're busy looking at your enemies health or where they are going. At least an option to toggle it on and off would be great

If you don't have time to look at your character, how can you have time to look at a tiny icon in the corner of the screen?

Every player on pc downloads the buff add-ons cause its helpful and literally every single other mmorpg has them, Plus with this way you're not wasting resources.
The skill aspect is paying enough attention to your character in order to know when you reapply buffs. Yes it requires less skill to have the game tell you this information.
I just dont understand why basically every other mmorpg does it but ESO doesnt and these other games are even more skill based and more technical. Just about everyone on pc uses the add-ons for it and I find it very unfair for console players
That's not a bad idea actually. Similarly, completing the Main Quest or a particular zone's Storyline could unlock locations of Skyshards.KingYogi415 wrote: »We need these basic features!
Completing the mages guild quest should have unlocked the location of the rest of the books!

Other mmorpgs also have an auction house. I think visual indicators of buffs is a fantastic aspect of this game, and I would hate to lose it. I should also clarify that I did originally play this game on PC, and I loath the majority of add-ons. Having the game tell me when my potion or ultimate is ready; or when to execute makes me cringe. You've got a brain; use it.

Have you seen pc play? You really want to play a game of just watch text flowing all over the place. These pc set ups look horrific and tacky. I'd rather it just stayed cleaner like we have over worrying about when my surge runs out because I'm too blind to notice electric arms.

Yeah PC looks like trash. I also despised the text chat when I played it. I better be able to turn off text chat when it goes live on console.

Text chat is not a good idea. Look no further than Neverwinter on consoles. The chat is NOTHING but gold selling scams looking to steal CC info. You can report them all day, but they just create new GT's and carry on if one is banned.
Or, just wait a week and decide for yourself whether it sucks or not, then complain.Prepare for the wrath of the forums for suggesting that text chat sucks on console.statisticalanomaly13ub17_ESO wrote: »Text chat is not a good idea. I personally would love to see UI customization on console. Not using adds or UI mods like PC just the ability to rearrange my UI as well as maybe scale the items on the screen.
